Q&A

Just installed this product. There is a crackling noise coming from the faucet when hot water is running. What is causing this. Also how do I remove the handle?

Hi Andy, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 559HAR-DST. Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. We are happy to help! This faucet uses a push-on handle. It is attached with friction, pull it straight off to remove it. The issue is likely caused by water debris trapped in the faucet. Running the faucet with the aerator removed can help flush out trapped debris. The faucet can also be flushed by turning off the water supplies, removing the cartridge under the handle, using a bucket and towel to redirect water into the sink, and turning on the water supplies. This will shoot water out of the side of the faucet and clear any trapped debris. If the issue remains, the cartridge may need to be replaced. What are the 2 hoses that connect to one another? What does that do?

What under mount sink do you recommend? How close to the wall can these faucets sit? We get a ton of water leaking from the base!

Is it possible to purchase the Aerators in bulk without the extra parts? I have four of the 559HA-SS-DST faucets installed in our new home they don't really aerate the water with the original aerators, but I don't need all the extra parts and tools.

Hi. Does this come with a "standard" aerator vs the Compel Single Stream?

How can I filter through your bathroom sink faucets to only see those which have a single handle mounted on the side instead of top. Also, which spouts rotate and which are fixed.

I purchased a Delta pull down faucet and installed it but I didn’t keep the box an the wrench to change out the mesh water filter at the head of the faucet. Is there anyway I can get one to clean out the faucet it has sediment in it.

Hello, we have these installed in 3 bathrooms. House pressure is 63psi. My faucets all run at .875 gpm, far less than the 1.2gpm on the spec. Any idea why? my aerator screens are clear. I cannot figure this out - please help.

I bought the 559HA-RB-DST faucet.  It came with a pop-up drain designed for a sink with overflow.  My sink is single wall copper with no overflow.  Do you currently sell a pop-up drain with no overflow to replace what came in the box?

Does the 559HA-RB-DST faucet have an available escutcheon for 3 hole sinks.  I have seen this question asked an answered several times with the answer being no.  Does the RP100091RB fit this faucet?  If so, does it come with faucet?

My husband installed this faucet and water will not come through. You can tell the water is trying but it is fully blocked. Help!!! Is it defective?

Is this a revision or a different version of the faucet? My builder installed these in my new home but the flow rate is terrible. They replaced one where the faucet was basically t and it seems better now, but the other 3 are still really subpar.

Is the mounting bolt coming out of the bottom supposed to be in a certain position relative to the faucet body and handle? The instructions appear to have it in the back whereas my 2 faucets have the bolt positioned toward the handle side.

My Delta Trinsic 559HA-SS-DST bathroom sink faucet will no longer hold water with the stopper down. How can I repair or replace the part that holds water in the sink? It worked when the faucet was initially installed.

This Trinsic line is awful. We just upgraded to this line in all our bathrooms in champagne bronze and they came with water marks and now leak at the sink base, and shower heads have no flow or pressure. I thought Delta was a great brand!

Is the Brilliance SS finish closer to Polished or Brushed stainless steel? The shower door I'm installing comes in a Chrome or Brushed Nickle finish. I'm not sure which would be a better match with the Trinsic faucets & trim I'm installing.
