Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful, except... ...the installation of the three-way, two-port diverter was not entirely clear from the instructions. I don't know whether my contractors ever read the instructions, but they didn't have the plumbing correct and ended up plugging the left side of the rough-in and not the right. So, no water was coming out of the handheld shower. They said it is very unusual to have such a complicated setup (?). Instead of ripping out all of the tile, I ordered a 6-way diverter. it is a hack, but at least we have water coming out of the wall-mounted and the handheld showerheads. yes, I would recommend the product. But I would say you need to be sure that you have qualified people installing it who do not have to rely on the product description and mounting instructions.

We have very little problems with the Delta products and find that they are a great value for the price. The customer that we purchased this item for had recently had us remodel his master bathroom with all Hansgrohe products. We remodeled his guest bath and he was looking to save a bit of money so I recommended Delta. I explained to him that I thought that Delta was just as good, but not quite as expensive. He decided to go with the Delta product and he is very happy with it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great design, okay quality [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the look of the hand shower and while the bar is extremely sturdy and well-made, the actual hose/hand shower is pretty cheap plastic and after less than a year of use, the cover of the hand shower has already come loose. I wish there were an option to keep the bar set, but upgrade the hand shower itself. Definitely NOT cheap, either!

At first we did not think we needed the hand shower but we are so happy we added it. It makes cleaning and showers to keep your hair dry so much easier. The slide bar is easy to use and you can tilt the head however you need and it holds great.

Does the handheld rotate left and right while attached to the slide bar, or just up and down?

Is the parking bracket on the 57085 reversible? Pictures on line show hand held on the left but directions with product show it on the right.

I bought this model but I didn't realized that I need other parts to be able to install it, what shoulder, control valve, diverter, etc.. do I need to install this model?

We recommend to start with looking at valve trim kits. How do you move the shower head holder up and down the slide bar?

Does the tightener need to be rotated to loosen, so that the holder can be moved up and down the bar? Is this a one-handed operation or two-handed? Is there a push button version?

Hi noname, Thanks for your question. You can rotate the lever on the side of the hand shower mount to raise or lower the slide mechanism. We recommend using two hands.
