Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product. We love the look in our new bath Installed this product last year and we love it. We are having trouble with the water flow. I read in the reviews you had instructions to clean the flow restrictor, could you please send this. Thanks

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful but Low Flow This faucet is like jewelry for your bathroom! It's so sleek and contemporary that I'm sure we'll get rave reviews from guests. That's where we installed it; well, my husband performed that task and said it was a no-brainer process. While beautiful, the low flow is something to get used to. I wouldn't have this water-saving feature in our master bath, but it is a keeper for the seldom-used guest bath. And usually, the Delta brand will mean good, quality years of performance.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful, but.... I absolutely love the look of this faucet, and we had no issues installing it. However the water flow from this faucet leaves some to be desired. We are very environmentally conscious and believe in conserving water, but within reason, and the low flow of this faucet takes some getting use to. Had we put it in our main bathroom where we use the sink much more often, I think we would have been replacing it. We put it in our spare bathroom where we basically just wash our hands, and it's tolerable for that. We already did all of the things that I saw suggested in other reviews and it didn't seem to help any. We aren't plumbers by any means, but decent DIY... still maybe we are missing something. That being said, it is beautiful and sleek and definitely upgrades the look of our bathroom. If the flow was just a little better it would be amazing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome faucets I just love them, my husband got them put on which wasn't hard at all, but he does plumbing. And the lever moves right up and down for turning it on and off. But what I love the most is that the spicket comes out farther than the other one we had. You don't have all the splashing of the water with it sitting out further. I have big mirrors above our bathroom vanities and they would have water splashes all over them and now nothing. And I love the stylish look of it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bathroom faucets Low flow. Not the 1.2 GPM as advertised. Maybe .5 GPM instead! Looks great but very dissatisfied.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from low flow and chrome finish deteriorated Ultra modern look for a contemporary home, but water flow is awful. Talked to builder who suggests cleaning out the mesh but now I have to find the gadget to pull out the stream straightener because there isn't a plumber in the trades who leaves paperwork and documentation in a new unit. Also, we have 4 of the vanity faucets and the chrome finish on one has deteriorated with multicolour look to the top. Perplexed as to how just one has the issue.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from One Year Later We ordered three of the Delta 599-MPU-DST in August/September of 2020 and had them installed by a licensed master plumber on new sinks. We also replaced the under sink shut off valves and the water lines between the valves and the new faucets. These items have performed poorly since being installed. One of the faucets did not work out of the box and had to be replaced under warranty. Once all three were installed, we observed that they deliver far less flow than the previous conventional faucets that these replaced. Also, the faucet in the guest bath now will not shut off completely. They look great, but perform miserably, therefore I would not recommend purchasing this model under any circumstances. I also intend to cross Delta off of my of manufacturers to consider in the future when purchasing faucets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bathroom remodel [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with the Delta Pivotal bathroom Faucet. Its design brings a modern update to our bathroom. The combination on/off and temperature control provides just enough resistance to maintain a set temperature. The water flow is just right for our low-profile sink and the included drain stopper seals perfectly to hold water in the bowl. My only criticism is the attached plastic waterlines are not replaceable nor can they be cut to fit the length between the sink deck and the water stops inside the vanity; which is fixable by looping and using cable ties to keep them out of the way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous and high end look & feel [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this faucet. Has a heavy high end quality feel to the handle. It is easy to clean with it's sleek design (I have hard water), with a simple wipe. The handle is smooth and easy to operate with a bump of the wrist, not too loose. I love the metal parts to this fixture giving it a heavy and high quality feel. It was fairly easy to install with quick hoses. This particular design had a thick chunky look which I was after and makes the small guest bathroom I installed look very classy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Modern and clean lines makes for a great look I purchased 2 of these for a guest bathroom and am very happy with the look and quality of them. The chrome is pretty and modern looking. The reason I gave 4 stars is that water flow is not as strong as some of the other Delta faucets I purchased for my new home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful The faucet faucet was easy tonjnstall and it has a very nice and contemporary design that complement the rest of the design in the master bathroom.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sink faucet Love this look, and everything about it is perfect! Definitely worth the cost.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very low flow I love the styling of these faucets but so little water flows from them that they are bordering on unusable. In a test, I measured about 0.6gpm. While I haven't actually measured the pressure in the pipes, the faucets that they replaced had tons of flow, as does the Moen shower fixture and the tub faucet in the same bathroom. I tried to remove the flow restricter, but when you do the faucet leaks badly. Unfortunately (other that the shower), I bought all matching Delta Pivotal fixtures and accessories, making replacing just the sink faucets unwise or impractical. I spoke with customer support a couple times, but they were unable to help. I'm frustrated.

How do i get the water spots off my black matte faucet?

Asked by: Nancy
Hello! We recommend cleaning Delta Faucet products with a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. If additional cleaning is required the following products are safe to use on all Delta Faucet finishes, when used according to the manufacturers’ instructions for use: Formula 409® Antibacterial All-Purpose Cleaner Fantastik® All-Purpose Cleaner Windex® Original Glass Cleaner Other gentle all-purpose or multi-surface cleaners may also be used. Please do not use anything labeled “all-purpose bathroom cleaner". Please reach out with further questions! Best Regards, Tim Digital Communications Specialist

Do you have a larger flow restrictor or a way I can remove it? Running 50 (pump on) to 65 (pump the off) psi and have a stream that takes 12 seconds to fill an 8oz cup. Also, can I order just the 3 hole adapter base parts?

Asked by: Mamesman
Hi, Thank you for contacting us. I am sorry to hear there is an issue with your faucet and we are more than happy to assist you. We always recommend a flush before installing a faucet as this will remove potential debris before it can enter our units. To ensure this is resolved fully we would like to go over a few potential causes. The issue that you have described is usually caused by a debris blockage in the lines. To locate that blockage you would need to flush out the valve body. To flush out the valve body, first remove the aerator or wand and turn off the water supply to the unit. It is helpful to use a chip clip or clothespin to prevent the hose from retracting into the spout. Remove the handle and cartridge. Inspect the bottom of the cartridge for debris and rinse this off carefully so as not to loose the orange or blue gasket. You will need to turn the water on just a little bit from out of the handle area to ensure no debris has fallen into the lines under the cartridge. Next, place a pitcher or bucket upside down over the open valve and turn the water back on full strength for 30 to 45 seconds. After the allotted time, turn the water off and reinstall the components. Please contact us if you have any further questions or if you need further assistance you may call us at 1-800-345-3358. We are open Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM central time, and 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday. Thank you for your cooperation. Best regards, Bethany

Will the drain fit a 1.75-in. Standard US drain opening?

Asked by: taimone
Hello Taimone, Thank you for your question. The threaded portion of the flange is 1 3/8" and the top surface diameter is 2 1/8". This assembly should work with a 1 3/4" diameter drain. However, the depth of the hole must be 1 5/8" to 2 3/8". https://media.deltafaucet.com/SpecSheet/DSP-L-599-MPU-DST%20Rev%20C.pdf Best regards, Tanya

We purchased 3 of these faucets for our bathroom upgrades. 2 of the faucets water flow is not very good and the third one's is flat out terrible. Plumbers verified all are free from debris, and lines are clear. Just poor water flow. What a shame.

Asked by: Karen2237
Thank you for your question, Karen2237! Model 599-MPU-DST is a WaterSense® Labeled faucet designed to produce 1.20 gpm @ 60 psi. We would recommend checking the PSI to the home as well as the Stream Straightner, Flow Restrictor, and Filter Adapter for any sediment that could be lowing this flow rate. Please feel free to contact us directly if you have questions or need further assistance. https://media.deltafaucet.com/PartsDiagram/DPD-L-599-LPU-DST_C.pdf Best regards, Edward

How does the handle come off

Asked by: Streetrod46
Hello, Thank you for your question! There are two versions of this handle. One uses a set screw which is covered with a button and removed with a 3/32" Allen wrench. The other handle type can be removed by pressing on it firmly while turning it counterclockwise to unthreads it from the valve. https://media.deltafaucet.com/PartsDiagram/DPD-L-599-LPU-DST%20Rev%20G.pdf Please reach out with further questions! my plumber installed this faucet on 2 of our new bathroom sinks. One works fairly well but not great, and the other has very little flow. What can we do to fix it. The plumber suggests that perhaps you need to send a new one?

Asked by: Corine
Thank you for your question, Corine! Model 599-SSMPU-DST is a WaterSense labeled faucet designed to produce 1.20 gpm @ 60 psi, however if you are not getting this flow rate, removing and checking the aerator and flow restrictor for debris buildup should help. If not, please feel free to contact us directly for further assistance. https://media.deltafaucet.com/PartsDiagram/DPD-L-599-LPU-DST_C.pdf Best regards, Edward
