Rated 5 out of 5 by from Second Shower System for us This is one of the components that makes up a complete shower system. This is the second system we have purchased for a new bathroom remodel in a different home. We, as well as our plumber are pleased to know all components come when ordering the shower system.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disapointed I purchases the Delta Mixing valve and is has not shut off well. It started to drip shortly after install. On the bright side Delta's customer service rep that I talked to was very pleasant and is sending out a new cartridge to replace the defective one.

Q&A

What is the difference between R10000-UNWS and R10000-UNBX valves?

Asked by: Spider
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # R10000-UNWS includes screwdriver stops on the valve to allow the user to turn the water off at the valve for servicing. If the model has an HF in it, then it means High Flow and can only be used on a shower only application.

No hot water

I have the Delta R10000-UNBXHF Multichoice Universal Shower Only Valve installed along with the shower Delta Faucet T14286-SHQ Arzo. Everything works fine except the hot water is not hot enough even when the handle is fully turned into the hot area as indicated by the dots. What in the Multichoice Universal Shower Only Valve needs to be adjusted to have more hot water?
Asked by: Chandra
Hi Chandra, Thank you for your question. Your T14286-SHQ faucet has a cartridge that is equipped with a rotational limit stop. The rotational limit stop allows you to set the max hot water temperature on your faucet. Here is a link to a how to adjust the rotational limit stop video. http://www.deltafaucet.com/shopping-tools/research/video-gallery/video.html?v=n2_uZ7wgV1I&cat= Thanks, Dave

R10000-UNBXHF Back to Back install

When the product mentions back to back capable does that mean two valves for two separate shower heads? Does the provided install instructions provide information on this type of set up. We want two separate shower heads one for her, one for me. :) Will I be needing two separate valves? Thank you
Asked by: Daveriverrat
Hi Daveriverrat, Thank you for your question. The back-to-back instructions are for installations in which the hot and cold supplies are on the opposite side. To run two shower heads, you can use an R11000 rough-in valve and a corresponding 3-Setting Diverter Trim Kit. This will allow you to divert water to either shower head or both. https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/product/R11000 The volume and temperature will be controlled by the R10000-UNBXHF valve. Best regards, Jon

I fixed a shower using an R1000-UNBX. It worked great but I had no way to find out what trim packages would work with it. I am now remodeling my tub/shower. Can I use a R1000-UNBX for the tub / shower or do I need a universal rough with a diverter?

Asked by: Dann
Thank you for your question, Dann! The R10000-UNBXHF can be used with any of our MultiChoice Universal trims, however the "HF" stands for High Flow meaning there is not a tub port in order to allow increased flow to the shower head. In order to use a tub spout, you will need a MultiChoice Universal valve like the R10000-UNBX along with a diverting tub spout. https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/product/R10000-UNBX Best regards, Edward
