Questionable quality
First valve ordered failed when capped to finish the floor tile. Replacement was sent quickly, but had to reschedule plumber and the floor installation, setting the bathroom project back 2 weeks.

Temperature Control Limited
The range of water temperature is limited on this unit. There is no capability to have a fully cold or maximum hot fill. And, to change the "range" of temperature, the handle must be removed. Otherwise, this product works as advertised.

Works Well But Hot Water Does Not Come Out Hot Enough
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this faucet last summer and I like it except the handle does not turn all the way to allow very hot water to come out. The Hansgrohe sink faucets I bought from Build allow very very hot water to come through, but this one just stops. I have had my installed tweak it to allow it to move a bit more so it's a bit better but I'm not sure why they didn't allow the full range and why we had to tweak it at all. Water could still be hotter but I also know that the hot water issues is not 100% related to the faucet itself. But since moving it manually some helped, I assume it's at least in part the faucet's fault.

Nice looking faucet

i am looking at the tesla T4752FL floor mount tub filler and see there are two valve options, the R4700 FL and the R4700 FLWS. Not sure what the difference is. Can you please advise?

Thank you for your question. Both of the Delta rough valve bodies R4700-FL and R4700-FLWS will work with the T4752-FL. The difference between the two rough valves is that the R4700-FLWS includes 'stops' that allow the user to turn the water off at the rough instead of having to turn the water off at the whole home. The R4700-FL does not include these stops.

Is this asse 1070 compliant?

Thank you for your question. The R4700-WL rough valve does not control the flow of the unit. The trim that gets installed will regulate the flow. The trim for the R4700-WL meets all plumbing regulations, including ASSE 1070.

How high do the water tube risers need to be above the floor to connect to the trim kit? I plan on placing this kit in a large shower pan (wet room) and want to ensure I have enough clearance after penetrating the sub floor, shower pan, mortar and tile.

I would like to test the R4700-FL and tub filler, and then remove it before I seal everything down and install the tile floor. Can I do this, or is it a one time installation?
Thank you for question, Alice! You may test the R4700-FL before you install the tub filler trim however this installation requires soldering and any damage that occurs from un-installing the rough will not be covered under the warranty. Please refer to the maintenance and installation manual below.

How far away does the mount have to be from the Tub?
Thank you for your question, Jonathan! The distance from the tub to the R4700-FL rough-in and tub filler would be a preference of the owner or installer as we do not have a set recommendation. We would advise reviewing the technical specifications sheet for the faucet you intend to purchase to ensure the spout reach will be close enough to fill the tub.

What is the size of the threaded studs?
No washers or nuts were included with the product. What is the nut size needed?

Thank you for your question. The mounting nuts and washers come with the tub filler trim kit. The nut and washer from RP74819 are made to mount onto the RP74814 threaded stud that measures 1/4-20 x 3.45".
