Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soap Dispenser [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product arrived within a few days and in good condition. Exactly replaced the broken one. However, I did order the wrong color, but it's still ok and not much difference, so I kept.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dispenser performance [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installed easily. Pumps a bit less soap per press than I would like, but works well.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cheaply made Looks great but won't last. Bought the combo faucet and soap dispenser. Faucet it great. Pump quit working to its full potential within the first year. Then the head snapped off.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Delta soap dispenser I've had this for almost two years. While it never functioned as well as a previous brand in another home it still worked until recently. The top part is made from plastic and it feels cheap and wobbles. It should be an easy pump/dispense action but top must be aligned and then pushed down several times to get soap. Now the unit is very difficult to use although I haven't had time to look into the problem.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Expensively cheap I had this installed professionally along with a faucet. $1000. As others have stated, the plastic that the tube attached to broke. Surprised at how cheap it is.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good looking product This past week, the soap dispenser pump stopped working. It will depress but does not come back up in order to pump again. I believe the assembly must have a spring to return the handle to the up position. I attempted to find the pump assembly at Home Depot but it is not in stock and on back order(?). Have no idea if they can fulfill. What is needed is the plastic pump assembly. Does Delta have replacement parts? Thanks, Regards

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pump Plastic Piece Broke - Few Months? Great Faucet however, soap dispenser broke. The plastic part in center broke.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pump stopped working.... Have had this product for the past 5 years and always has been difficult to refill. I have to either reach under and behind the sink blindly to remove the bottle to refill or fill extremely slowly from above the counter or else an airlock causes the soap to bubble over the top creating a mess. This past week, the pump stopped working. It will depress but does not come back up in order to pump again. I attempted to find the pump assembly on Amazon but what I received was too small/short for my bottle. At this point, I think the only fix is to replace the entire pump set up.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke easily, not durable I am very disappointed. The pump became loose due to flimsy plastic internal parts. Shortly thereafter the whole thing started falling apart. The components fell out or came loose. I found a small gasket in the sink. I lifted pump to refill and the tubing pulled right out of the pump. Not what I would expect from a Delta product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Soap dispenser plastic breaks easily We are a "delta family", have this kitchen faucet, and this soap dispenser is a poor design. Faucet is great. However the soap dispenser is made of plastic and broke easily. It is a piece that goes under stress to be pumped, I thought it would be made of metal. Not a good product if you have kids.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Love the faucet, soap dispenser not durable at all Our experience is similar to many of the other reviewers of this faucet/soap dispenser combo. The faucet is rock solid and a fantastic value. The soap dispenser appears to be made from inferior internal plastic components. Ours just stopped pumping this week and I took it apart to try to determine the cause and the mechanical pump inside is made from cheap plastic that is now cracked and broken. Going to have to replace the entire unit after two years.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Faucet is Great; Soap dispenser not so Great! Love the Delta faucets in my kitchen and bathrooms. However, the soap dispenser has recently stopped working properly. Very little soap is being pumped out of the dispenser. The worst part is we had a hole cut in our granite countertop to fit this particular dispenser.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The faucet is great but the soap dispenser cracked and broke The soap dispenser cracked and is now broken. This is very disappointing, as the faucet is in great condition and still looks good.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Our Delta soap dispenser worked great untill the pump head cracked off. We are having trouble finding a new pump head. The faucet works great. The broken soap dispenser is an eye sore. Our rating was excellent but dropped to poor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Updates my kitchen I switched from a bronze faucet and soap dispenser to this stainless one, and it looks so much better with my stainless sink. So far, it dispenses my soap well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like my faucet and it works great after two years however the soap dispenser is horrible My Delta faucet was installed in March of 2015 and has worked great ever sense. The soap dispenser worked great at first but after two years very little soap comes out to the point it almost doesn't work at all. I have always had Delta faucets without a problem but the soap dispenser needs a rework as it does not last as long as the faucet.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great faucet, cheap soap dispenser I have use Delta faucets anytime I have needed to replace a faucet in my home. I have grow comfortable with the quality and reliability of your products, until now. While the replacement kitchen faucet has worked well, the soap dispenser barely lasted a few months. The very top part broke most likely to being plastic. I have tried to find a replacement part at Lowes and Home Depot but have been unsuccessful. How can I easily get the needed part without cheeseparing the entire assembly?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Soap dispencer broken spout. We also purchased the Delta Deluca Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet (Model #:19912-SSSD-DST) that came bundled with the RP50781 - Dispenser Assembly. The faucet has been flawless, but the dispenser broke after a couple of years. It appears the the top snapped clean off the plastic base (leaving the screws still in place), my wife is very careful and not sure how this broke. On inspection, this is a very cheap plastic part that should be better made if it is to be sold with Delta faucets, which are typically of high quality and great design. How can I get a replacement top spout? It seems a shame and unnecesary expense to have to replace the whole dispencer. Many thanks

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Short lived Bought this Delta soap dispenser with a matching fosset. Was very pleased until it broke in a way I cannot fix it but replace it. The inner parts that hold the screws of the mechanism itself broke off. The annoying part is not only I will have to put money into a new soap dispenser but now I have to find a solution that will match the existing fosset.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great faucet. Soap dispenser...not so much Like other reviewers, having problems with the soap dispenser not working after a couple of years. Tried cleaning everything completely, but still the dispenser is hard to push down, and very slow to return to its normal up position. My wife is frustrated....

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Like many others, the faucet is great but the soap dispenser sticks down The soap dispenser started sticking after about 2 years. It will be 3 years old in July, but you can only get a single squirt out of it - the spring isn't strong enough to return it to a ready position. We've been very happy with the faucet 19958-DST, and were originally very pleased with the soap dispenser before it started sticking.
Date published: 2017-03-12
Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor quality internals The internals of the soap dispenser became stiff and quit pumping. As others have noted, the quality of the soap dispenser is not equal to the high quality of the faucet.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The faucet is great but soap dispenser isn't. We bought the touch faucet and love the faucet, however the soap dispenser is broken which is so disappointing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poorly Designed Soap Dispenser We have had this soap dispenser for 2 and 1/2 years. From the time that is was installed is has not worked correctly. The top would just spin around and would not stay positioned over the sink. Now it will not pump. It is like it is locked up. We have soaked it in warm water but to no avail. We have reverted to the use of a bottle of soap on the counter. We love the faucet and have always bought Delta products, but the soap dispenser is a piece of junk. Looks nice, but doesn't work. With all of the complaints, I would think that Delta would come up with a more reliable replacement.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from 2d Pump Failure in 1 Yr Purchased this as part of a 4 piece kitchen set at Lowes in Jacksonville NC and installed to replace ~13 year old Delta equipment from original home construction. ~18-24 months after installation, the plastic pump action became stiff. Despite lube attempts, it ceased working. Managed to swap it out with Lowes sales staff. 5-7 months after replacing, exactly the same series of events and the new plastic unit is useless. Using a stand alone bottle now. Very much like the design and lines of the sink fixtures, but the critical plastic pump is unreliable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful design Like that the bottle is larger, more capacity. The champagne color is beautiful

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed Love the faucet, however, this soap dispenser is very cheaply made. Ours just broke after 3 years of light use. Replacing the part is very expensive. I suppose we will have to look at other brands now. Very disappointing.

Q&A

There's a loose black rubber gasket & also a white sealant attached the bottom of the base that affixes to the top side of the sink. The white seal seems to replace silicone. Does the black gasket still go above the sink, or below with the plastic nut?

Is there the same style dispenser that is about 2 inches higher above the sink top?

Asked by: BillN
Thank you for your question. All of our soap dispensers are flush with the countertop except for one model. Delta Faucet model # RP47280SS sits on top of the countertop.

I am trying to match a brushed nickel faucet with your soap dispenser. What is difference in color between Actic Stainless and just Stainless?

Is Stainless or Arctic Stainless what you consider to be equal to brushed nickel?
Asked by: Mortman
Thank you for your question. The difference between Artic Stainless and Stainless Steel is that Artic Stainless more closely matches today stainless steel appliances. It has a bluer tint to the finish and Stainless Steel has a gold tint to the finish.

I'm trying to replace an Opella plastic Kitchen Soap Dispenser - the hole in the sink will only allow a 7/8" threaded flange. Does Delta make a Kitchen Soap Dispenser that has a 7/8" Threaded Flange? If so, part number, stainless?

Asked by: JimZ
Thank you for your question, JimZ! Delta soap dispensers are designed to fit most standard installation holes but will require a minimum 1 1/4" to accommodate the threaded shank. https://media.deltafaucet.com/SpecSheet/DSP-K-4380-SD-DST_Rev_B.pdf Best regards, Edward
