Need a separate bottle
We installed the Single Lever Pilar Touch Faucet in a kitchen remodel a number of years ago and are so pleased with it. The coordinating pump worked for about a year before the bottle neck actually broke off and is not replacable. The intent of having a clearer counter space with this feature is defeated and paying for the entire fixture to replace a plastic bottle is not reasonable.

Replacement soap bottle
We installed the Delta faucet set that includes this soap dispenser during a kitchen remodel years ago. The soap bottle itself failed after a few years and I have not been able to find a replacement bottle. The dispenser is useless without a bottle and there does not seem to be a replacement available. The bottle size seems to be unique as non-Delta bottle do not fit.

Pump barley pumps soap
I have two of these delta pumps in my house and at first they worked fine. After the first one had began barely pumping, I switched them out and it started pumping like it should. As did the first one when it was new. After a few months of use, it done the same thing as the other one. It matches my faucet and would hate to put something different in and faucet too. A lot of money to spend just to pump soap.

Soap pump stopped
I really like the faucet and have had no problem with it but the soap dispenser is the problem. We have owned the unit several years and the soap pump started to take longer and longer to pop back up and now it has stopped working altogether. I have been looking for the plunger part but it is not available...do I have to buy a new soap dispenser? Seems many people have had the same problem...why not make the part available?

Pump Failure
I have two of these less than 24 months old and both have stopped pumping. Nice design but not well suited for pumping heaver viscosity products such as hand soap and dish washing liquid, which is the whole purpose of having these! I do not recommend.

Good Faucet, Bad Soap Dispenser
I've had the faucet and soap dispenser for a few years now. The faucet is fine, but the spigot for the soap dispenser snapped off after a couple of uses. I wish there was a blockout piece or I could just get the spigot and tube, but I don't see any such items in the parts list

Works well, and then it doesn't
So I have the RP50781SS soap dispenser for my kitchen sink. Worked well for about a year and a half, then kablowey. The pump head collapsed. Unfortunately the only serviceable parts are the pump mechanism and the lock nut to hold the dispenser bottle to the sink. I am currently in search of a dealer who has the assembly available.

Soap Dispenser
We purchased this particular one because it matched the faucet we installed - in style and color. It works just fine. It is a rather short "spout", so it needs to be placed an appropriate distance over the edge of the sink.

Worked great for a few years
Bought this seven years ago with the matching pullout faucet when we redid our kitchen. Loved it and it worked great for many years. Just recently it stopped working. The pump won’t sit straight and it feels like it is going to snap and break if you try to push it down. Hoping to replace only the pump and not the whole unit. Also, can’t figure out what stainless finish we have.

Stopped Working
I read a number of reviews and it seems like the soap dispenser stopped working for a number of people. To be fair, mine lasted about 2 years then it got harder to pump and then it wouldn't pop back up again. I'm going to buy another and hopefully this one will last longer.

Love this, but..........
I bought this (along with the matching pullout faucet) 6 years ago. The pump was always a little "flimsy" feeling when pushing down, but soap dispensed and it would pop back up, so I dealt with it. Now the time comes that it doesn't pop back up. My main gripe is that I can't find a replacement pump for it. Seems silly to have to buy a whole new dispenser when the rest of it is still in good condition.
Update: I meant to write this 2-1/2 months ago, but life got in the way! Delta contacted me immediately and within a week I had a new pump assembly, free of charge! Although I gave the dispenser 3 stars, their customer service is definitely 5+ stars!

Soap Dispenser stop springing up
It's very pretty and I love the faucet component, but the soap dispenser quickly stopped coming back up. You can pull back it up on your own, but that defeats its entire purpose.

Defective again
Our dispenser, Delta RP50781, is four years old but once again it has quit pumping. Push down and it sticks. We kept it clean, replaced the mechanism once, and now the replacement is sticking and does not dispense. Part life seems to be 18 months or so. A lot of trouble to replace on a regular basis! Look for another brand. Don't buy Delta. Very poor design and cheaply made.

Bought this to go with my Esque faucet and hate it. It's overly large, bulky, cheap plastic. Doesn't feel like a quality item that will last. Hard to keep water marks off of it. I'm embarrassed to have it in my newly remodeled kitchen. Got what i paid for.

Soap dispenser never springs back!
The soap dispenser has never worked. It presses down once and never springs back. Very poor design. Purchased this faucet mostly because of the soap dispenser feature and now I have a big bottle of dish soap on my counter again! Not happy!

Matches my new faucet
This filled the hole left in the sink from the old hose sprayer. I got a new one handle faucet with a pull out hose that I love. This matched the hole size, the finish on faucet, and clears my counter from the old soap bottle.

Soap Dispenser No Longer Works
I noticed several months ago that the soap dispenser was not working well. At first, the pump was just difficult to push down and very little soap was dispensed. However, the valve now pushes down, but doesn't pop back up. I took the pump out and cleaned it well; however, after putting it back together, nothing works at all. I tried to match pictures of the plastic tube to Delta parts, but my tube doesn't look like the only one that is being sold as a replacement part. What are my options? I love the faucet, but really hate this soap dispenser.

I bought this faucet and love the faucet but for the price it is disappointing that the soap dispenser is plastic. Mine came with a damaged area on the flat surface. looks like a flaw in the finish, very noticeable. its a shame for this price.

Good faucet, bad soap dispenser.
I bought the whole faucet set in brushed nickel. The plastic housing inside the soap pump head that holds it in place broke and now is unusable. I like the faucet, but the pump is made poorly.

The dispenser is getting harder to use
The soap dispenser started out okay, but soon started getting harder and harder to use. After pushing the dispenser down, it takes longer and longer to come back up. I followed the instructions and cleaned the dispenser with hot water to try to clean it out, but it hasn't helped. The dispenser when pushed down still take a long time to come back up and little soap comes out. I am not sure what to do, repair or replace? I would also like to find out how to get a soap funnel to fill the unit as mentioned in another review.

I love this product-instead of dish soap- since I most often use the dishwasher, I have hand soap in it. I do suggest a funnel for filling if what you are putting in is thick-will make it easier. I love not having additional soap dispensers on the countertop.

Disappointed
The plastic post holding screws have snapped. This is the 2nd problem I have had with this faucet. I cannot believe list price to replace this part is $43.45. It's chrome finished plastic and the whole faucet cost under $200.00. I will either replace faucet with another brand or just remove the soap dispenser. Very unhappy with my Delta purchase and would not recommend to anyone.

Hard to fill
I was having trouble filling this with soap. The soap would back up due to bubbles and overflow. So I purchased the funnel from delta. Helps but soap still backs up into the funnel but at least you can see soap backing up and stop filling until soap recedes into the dispenser Also cannot tell when the dispenser is full. When filling I stop and put the top back in and use it as a dipstick.

There's a loose black rubber gasket & also a white sealant attached the bottom of the base that affixes to the top side of the sink. The white seal seems to replace silicone. Does the black gasket still go above the sink, or below with the plastic nut?

The soap dispenser on our delta product has disintegrated and no longer pumps. Can I get a replacement part? I think the model number is RP50781 and is either stainless or brushed nickel. I can send a photo if that would help.

Is there the same style dispenser that is about 2 inches higher above the sink top?
Thank you for your question. All of our soap dispensers are flush with the countertop except for one model. Delta Faucet model # RP47280SS sits on top of the countertop.

I am trying to match a brushed nickel faucet with your soap dispenser. What is difference in color between Actic Stainless and just Stainless?
Is Stainless or Arctic Stainless what you consider to be equal to brushed nickel?
Thank you for your question. The difference between Artic Stainless and Stainless Steel is that Artic Stainless more closely matches today stainless steel appliances. It has a bluer tint to the finish and Stainless Steel has a gold tint to the finish.

I'm trying to replace an Opella plastic Kitchen Soap Dispenser - the hole in the sink will only allow a 7/8" threaded flange. Does Delta make a Kitchen Soap Dispenser that has a 7/8" Threaded Flange? If so, part number, stainless?

My model RP 50781 Soap dispenser pump sticks. It doesn’t return to the full pumping mode and therefore it doesn’t pump. What do I need to do to fix this problem? Thanks

Please try to soak the entire dispenser and pump in a solution of 50/50 white vinegar and water and flush it out with warm water.
