Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Diverter I love the way this fixture turned out. I'm a DIY'er and have never attempted such a large project. I was able to install all the plumbing and fixtures myself. The instructions were clear enough for me to get it right the first time around. The only thing I'd do differently is I would leave a larger whole for the openings. There is no real direction for this and I ended up struggling to get everything hooked up with an opening that was just big enough for the plumbing to poke through. Tried adding a photo and it wouldn't upload.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Diverter model T11800 I purchased the wrong diverter - during construction we decided to add a third outlets (rain shower) thinking the diverter would accommodate. This diverter has three options - shower head, hand held or both (per product description). I needed to purchased another diverter with six options to accommodate rain shower. Otherwise product is great. Buyer beware or don't change your mind after buying this diverter. But, if you do, you can always buy another insert.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We bought the delta t11800 diverter in chrome to control water from shower head to hand held shower. the contractor didn't have any problems installing the rough-in value (r11000). and the diverter itself looks great. the overall design is simple and sleek, and the diverter functions smoothly. we purchased a 2 gpm hand shower head and notice a slight dip in water pressure overall when we have both on at the same time. you can't avoid that, I think. it's been 9 months since we've updated the shower and I can't think of a single complaint.

Is this for shower/tub combo or can it be used for shower head and hand held shower and no tub?

Thank you for your question, Gigi! This Diverter Trim will cover the R11000 Diverter Rough which connects to the top port of a mixing valve rough such as the R10000-UNBX. Because of this, it is not recommended to divert back down to the tub spout. You can; however, still diverter water from the R10000 using a diverting tub spout or simply cap this port if not needed. The right port of the R11000 would then be capped leaving the left and top ports for a shower head and another feature such as a hand shower or body jet. https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/product/R11000 Best regards, Edward

Is there trim that can be used when the hole for the diverter is larger than the trim?

I have the t11800 and I made the hole the same size as the valves. the depth is about on the money slight in too far so the plate can push out the diverter trim too much. Thanks, Steve

At 60PSI, what is the flow rate (in GPM) from each port when not in the shared position? and from each port when in the shared position?

The GPM ( gallons per minute) of the positions for the T11800/R11000 diverter valve depends on the components being used and the trim/cartridge of the control valve. Can this faucet be configured to have an off position?

I would like to be able to have overhead shower or a wand or the off position not both in one position.

Hi Dan, Thank you for your question. This diverter will allow you to run two components, together or individually. The diverter cannot be configured to turn the water off to both units. You must have a separate valve to control the flow and temperature of the water, such as a 14, 17, or 17T series unit. Hello Multitask, Thank you for your question. This diverter will allow you to run two components, together or individually. The diverter valve is not designed to have a tub spout connected to it You would connect the diverter tub spout to the bottom port of the valve. Best regards, Tanya

We have purchased the Windemere Monitor 14 Series Valve Trim along with the MultiChoice Rough-In. We are wanting a diverter that does two shower heads, plus a both option. This valve recommended isn’t making sense to us. Help?

Rosanna, The I spoke with a Delta representative on the phone yesterday. They said this diverter trim required the R11000 rough-in. This particular rough-in comes with 4 outlets. In which, how do you plumb it accordingly to do the detachable on one, rain head on the other and then both? Does the cartridge that comes with this trim allow for that?

Hi, Alexis! Thank you for your question. The Delta R11000 has four ports. The bottom port is to be plumbed to a MultiChoice R10000 valve body. The right port is to be plugged, while the two shower components are to be plumbed to the top and left ports. Best Regards, Rosanna
