Does the "R" at the end of T 11859-SS-R stand for "refurbished". Making sure this is a separate model from the T 11859-SS.

Delta® Recertified products are returned, unused items that include all parts, and have been inspected to meet the quality standards of new Delta products. My tile installer made the opening too large and there will be a gap between the tile and the plate. Is there another escutcheon plate I can use in combination with this diverter trim?  Id rather not grout around it to cover it.
