Dreamy shower!
We are very pleased with this. I wasn’t expecting to be able to use every function alone and in combination; being able to makes for a dream shower. No complaints from on my plumber about installation. We have had this for about 3 months now with daily use and no issues.

Good product. Problem with diverter function positioning. Design needs to consider the many functions without resorting to the manual.
There should be icons or symbols denoting the function at each location of the diverter handle. Someone new using it would find it difficult to determine at what position a particular function is (where to position the handle).

At the top of the page it states "Valve is not included, must purchase separately". In the Product Features section it states "Includes valve cartridge". Is the valve included or not?
Thank you for your question, Sichuan! We apologize for any confusion and are happy to clarify. The rough-in diverting valve, R11000, is not included and sold separately from the trim kits. A 3-setting or 6-setting trim kit will include the the appropriate valve cartridge which then fits into the valve-rough-in body and then dictates how many settings to divert the water to.

how do we adjust the temperature in the shower. it is TOO hot
Thank you for your question. Depending on what trim you are using, there is a rotational limit stop right behind your handle. Delta Faucet model # R11000 is a diverter and the temperature cannot be changed by the diverter. If you can find your model number of your trim, there are directions to change the rotational limit stop online.

Where do I connect the hand held shower wand?
Thank you for your question, Jeff! When using a diverter trim, you will need a wall outlet ( 1/2" iron pipe nipple) and elbow such as model 50560 in order to connect to a hand shower hose.

I purchased a Delta R11000 3 port diverter and it only uses 2 of the 3 outlets. I see that is what it was intended to do. I need to be able to use all 3 ports singly. Can I install a 6 function into the same 3 port without having to tear up my walls?
Thank you for your question, Larry! The R11000 diverting valve will turn into a 6-setting diverter by switching the cartridges; however, in order to use the three setting diverter cartridge, the right port would have been capped per the instructions. This port will need to be un-capped first.

Is there a way to label the 3 handle positions on the trim plate to assist users, e.g. “S” for shower at 12:00, “B” for Bath at 4:00 and “H” for Handheld at 8:00?
Thank you for your question, Westchester. The escutcheon plate will have markings to indicate the 6 handle positions. However, we do not make labels to designate which showering component these correspond to.

how do i measure a escutcheon
i bought the addison T11892, but the escutcheon was to shallow i need a deeper one, at least i need one about 1 inch deep

I want a diverter for a shower head, hand held shower, and a tub filler. Will this work?
Thank you for your question, Ghostcat! We do not recommend using a diverting valve for a tub filler or tub spout, however you can install a diverting tub spout. Water will go to the tub spout first, then by using the spout diverter, water will be directed to the diverting valve. We would then recommend using a 3-setting diverter trim such as the T11800-SS for the shower head and hand shower with either a shared position for both or you can purchase a non-shared two setting cartridge.

Can this 6 setting diverter be used with only 2 components (a standard shower head and a wall mounted handheld) attached if I plug one of holes in the R11000 diverter? I want to provide myself some flexibility later to install other components.

Thank you for your question. The Delta T11900 6 setting diverter trim can be used with two shower components. There will be three blank settings until you decide to install the third shower component.
