However, I just found this diverted trim does not come with a cover button for the screw hole (confirmed with delta technical support). How ridiculous this is...should we just wait for rust to form through the hole?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 6 function valve I am having trouble with this. I had to have the contractor come back and adjust it. It kept spinning all the way around to where the off and on where in different places. They adjusted that, now the hot and cold are backwards. Maybe it wasn’t put ion corral you or maybe it just is bad. I love the color and all the parts i bought but I am not to happy with this valve. I spent a lot a cash on thes\e product and hoped it would be great. If there is something we are doing wrong or if you think it was assembled incorrectly please let me know.

Instead of just having to choose between a shower head, hand held or rain shower, I can combine any two of these at one time with this diverter. I did my whole remodel in the Delta vero series and it's clean and contemporary.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm very happy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This just has a nice feel to it. (In addition to being very simple, straightforward and work well). I have this one in the master bath. The 6 positions allow for the rainhead, handheld or body jets x2, with a very good amount of pressure. Or select position 4, 5 or 6 and have any possible combination of two. Now quite as powerful but that's not the products fault I put the 3 position version in the guest bath. Also rainhead and handheld. This can run either of those or both together.

It works quite well with crisp detent action at all intervals. A bit of a learning process as to what position controls each or combined water distribution feature. All in all very impressive and stately as a finished installation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great! Just recently finished a remodel on our house, and we did a whole makeover in the master bathroom. My husband wanted the big fancy shower and that's what he got! He wanted a Wall shower head, a rain shower head, and 4 body sprayers. The diverter works great to switch from each shower head and the body sprayers and we can also run them at the same time with the diverter. I would highly recommend this item!

We are remodeling a client's condo and decided to go with the same product. I have had issues with other diverters (Kohler) which wouldn't stop leaking even after replacing the cartridge so for me, it only mades sense to go with Delta. Great product; feels and looks high quality!

What is the GPM for the T11953 Trim 6 function diverter

Hi Brian, Thank you for your question. The T11953 diverter trim will reduce the flow rate of your chosen valve trim from the previous question by at least 1.5 gallons per minute. The diverter does not produce flow, it simply directs the water where to go. Thanks, Dave

How much decrease in flow should I expect when adding the T11953 diverter to a T17T053 valve?

Is there a deep wall cartridge for T11953 Diverter Trim

Construction ended up with the rough in valve deeper in the wall than expected. I cannot attach the trim handle with the backplate in place. If I could get a cartridge with a longer stem, that would resolve the problem.

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T11953 does have an extension kit available that will add 1" to the installation. It is model # RP75137 and can be ordered and purchased from the local retailer or wholesaler.

I want to install two ceiling shower heads, two body sprays and a slide bar handshower. What diverter should I buy?

Hello Jose, Thank you for your question. The Delta Vero 6-Setting T11953 will allow you to divert between three components (A, AB, B, BC, C, CA). You would need to install another valve body Delta MultiChoice R10000-UNBX and also the valve trim kit for fourth component (hand shower, shower head or the two body sprays) installation. Do you make this 6 way diverter in a 10.25 “ square? I’m seeing it on Amazon as such .

I would recommend confirming the size with the specification sheet for the model number. I want to install this trim kit to replace an older diverter that used the R11600 rough in.  What additional parts do I need to use this trim with the R11600 rough in?

To install a new diverter trim with the older R11600 diverter rough-in you will need the following: RP42410 - cartridge (OBS) RP37890 - extension screw (OBS) RP37902 (3 function stem extender) OR RP37903 (6 function stem extender) Some of these parts can be found online or locally.
