I'm trying to replace the trim on a Monitor 1300 that was installed in the early 90s. Is this compatible?

Hi, Sarah! Thank you for your question. The Delta Monitor T13020 Valve Trim Kit will fit the older 1300 Valve Body. The new trim kit does come with the RP46074 valve cartridge assembly. This cartridge will not fit the older 1300 valve body. The original RP19804 valve cartridge assembly will need to be used with the new trim kit. Best Regards, Rosanna

I have, what appears from the pictures, a Delta Monitor 13 shower valve at a weekend cottage on a well. Recently, I turned off the hot water supply to service the water heater and was surprised to find that the shower would not run any cold water.

Thank you for your question, Tom1948! I apologize for the confusion and inconvenience this may have caused, however 13/14 series Monitor shower utilizes a pressure balance spool which works with both the hot and cold influx of water. The pressure balance spool inside the valve cartridge, requires both hot and cold water in order to operate correctly and will not work with only one side turned on. Best regards, Edward

Will this work with an old Delex model?

I believe Delex is an old division of Delta. My cartridge works fine, but the handle/trim needs updating. Is this trim and handle compatible? Image of the cartridge is attached.

To use a current trim kit, you would need to install an R10000 rough-in valve. Delta Monitor shower faucet handle removal?

I have 3 Delta Monitor Shower faucets. House built in 2009. I cannot see how to remove the handle to change the temperature setting. There is no set screw to remove as is shown in all your examples. My question is, how do you remove the handle?

Can you install only the trim and not the valve?

I don't know the model but it looks like the Monitor 13 series valve. This is an old installation (more or less 20 years) and is leaking. A friend suggested that the valve cartridge needs replacement. I so, what valve cartridge do I need? Please advice.

I have the T13020 installed by a plumber ,very happy with it but , I would like to adjust the hot water .I need more heat to relax in my shower and tub I have both.in seperate stalls.it is set up for medium temp.not warm enough for me.due to chronc pain.

What is the difference between BT13010 and T13020?

Replacing RP4993 in the legs of the cartridge should fix the drip. If it remains, we recommend replacing the RP46074 cartridge. I don't know the model but it looks like the Monitor 13 series valve. This is an old installation (more or less 20 years) and is leaking. A friend suggested that the valve cartridge needs replacement. I so, what valve cartridge do I need? Please advice.

Besides the trim handle, what else do I need to complete the installation

I received this and it did not come with a screw for the handle. I know I will need a 1/8" allen wrench but what size screw do I need?

The lever on my new Monitor shower valve won't go all the way to "Hot". The water is only lukewarm and won't get hot.
