How do you remove the pull up tub stopper? We have tried everything and can not figure it out or find documentation explaining this. The tub is not draining and we want to remove it to check for hair before calling a plumber. Help!!

Thank you for your question, Jackie! Unfortunately our bath waste assemblies are not included with shower trims and we do not manufacture a pull up tub stopper currently. We do offer toe-operated bathtub drain assemblies which simply unscrew from the waste plug. The older lift and turn model RP695 would also unscrew. I recently had an R1000-UNBX shower body installed together with a T13422 trim kit.

However, I would like to be able to control both water temperature and volume in our shower. Which would be the most economical fixture with which to replace the T13422? Would it require much skilled labor to make the replacement? Thanks for your help. - Jim Goulder

Thank you for your question. Because you have installed Delta Faucet model # R10000-UNBX, all you have to do is put on a new trim kit. Only the pieces on the outside of the wall will need replaced. Since you would like to control the volume and the temperature, you will need a 1700 series trim. We have several styles available so as long as the model starts with T17 you will find what you are looking for.

I'd like to change the knob to a lever handle like model T13420. Is this possible? What parts do I need?

I have a clear acrylic knob (model T13422) and would like to update the look to single lever handle of a similar model. Assuming it is possible, what parts do I need to make the conversion? It appears I would need the H79 handle. Would I need anything else?

I have a T13422 fixture and would like to change the trim to a brushed metal look, is this possible?

Hi Steve, Thank you for your question. If your T13422 tub/shower faucet was installed after February 2006, any of our current trims will work with your existing rough in valve. If the faucet is older than February 2006 you will only be able to use the current 13/14 series trims to update your faucet. Thanks, Dave

What is the differences between T13422 & T13422-SOS, both provide the spout correct? I'm trying to find my current delta replacement trim and the spout, but don't know exactly which one I should buy?T13422 or T13422-SOS?

Hi Kim23!, Thanks for the question. Yes both models come with the spout. However the T13422-SOS model has a Slip-On-Spout. There is a set screw below the spout to attach it to the pipe nipple. The spout on the T13422 is threaded onto the pipe nipple. Page 5 on the Installation Guide shows how the different spouts are attached. I have this fixture and want to update the look.  I only want to change the parts that one sees (shower head and arm, valve trime and tub spout) and not the plumbing that is behind the tile. What models are compatible with that plumbing? Thank you.
