I have an older Delta Shower valve, in which the mounting screws are both at the bottom of the cover plate at 5 and 7 0'clock positions. What shower valve trim can I purchase with these mounting hole locations?

I have a delta shower divertir that was installed 20 years ago and works fine. I’m looking to change trim ring and handle without changing valve. Can I use this.

This MultiChoice trim kit can be used with a pre-MultiChoice 1400 series shower faucet. The included cartridge will not fit the older valve. Trying to access the set screw to remove handle and increase hot water. It appears to have a piece of clear rubber where the screw access should be . Do I remove that with something in order to access the screw or is that something else?  Thanks

If the shower is a MultiChoice model, then any current 13/14, 17, or 17T series trim can be used with the installed MultiChoice valve. We installed the Delta shower handle trim T14232-SS and unfortunately the cutout hole is bigger than the round trim piece on the shower handle. Do you make a larger plate adapter of some kind that can be added to the trim piece to cover the hole?

Is there a product that can safely remove water spots from the stainless finish? I wipe it down after showering, but water spots remain.

Hi My1andonly, Thanks so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company about T14032! Always blot dry any water from the faucet surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to a build-up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth. Hard water stains may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Make certain that you rinse the surface thoroughly with water afterward. my water on handle turn less than 75 degrees from off position and has no cold water, as water runs it is only hot water coming out the tap. what could the problem be?

Your cartridge may need to be flipped then the shower unit can be adjusted, I have attached a link to show how to adjust the RLS on our Delta shower cartridges. This will provide the option of hotter water and the correct temperature. Hello, I need to adjust the hot water to make it hotter. There is a piece of paper or plastic covering the hole where  the Allen screw is to remove the handle. How do I get that piece of plastic out and how to I replace it once I have it remove.

Does this valve trim work with the 1400 series rough in valves?

Hi mommaball, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T14032-BL. This trim kit can update a pre-MultiChoice pre-2006 1400 series faucet with an RP19804 cartridge. The new, included cartridge, will not fit the old valve. But, the new handle and trim will fit the older valve and older RP19804 cartridge. How hard is it to Replace a Shower Faucet without tearing out a wall? Can the old rough in application be okay to install a new valve and shower head?

Will this Woodhuurst trim work on my old Delta 1400 series that has the clear knob handle with the screw in the middle of the knob. I only want to replace the escutcheon and the clear knob handle and nothing else
