Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not quality metal parts, bait and switch They sell this as a quality Delta product that's Chrome when they should say "chrome finish" because the tub filler portion is called chrome which implies metal but if you dig deep into the parts description, it's actually composed of "non-metal". Basically bait and switch, Delta implies their products are made with quality parts when they're actually cheap plastic garbage.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tub spout does not divert correctly There's something wrong with the spout that cannot divert water when opening the valve partially - it seems there's too much open space to push water out the shower head so while trying to fill the tub with not hot water I get sprayed by the shower. On the second tub spout that does the same thing and now going to return the entire thing as defective and go with a different brand.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice shower head I like the shower head. I typically buy Kohler but couldn’t believe how much the prices on those increased and didn’t think it was worth paying double. I think this showered tub set is nice looking and good quality. I only have two complaints. One is in the material and when you touch it sometimes there are fingerprint marks left on it. I also have an issue with the shower head leaking a little when the tub is on. My contractor said it’s the valve so I don’t know if that’s a shower head thing or valve thing. The valve is also delta. Overall price for value I would buy it again.

Bought this on Amazon.com in October 2023. The diverter handle keeps falling off, because the set screw isn't seated properly. It looks like it CAN'T be seated properly. Please help.

Is there any modern looking and/or similar trim kits you would recommend that would work with the RP19804 cartridge? I'm finding it difficult to decipher which current models would be compatible to replace my old Monitor 1400 valve.

Re:T17235 Temperature knob is coming loose on our installed product. What tool is used to tighten it, and where is the spot on the faucet to tighten this? We see a small hole covered by a removable metal tab, so perhaps that is the spot, but what tool?.

My handle on my delta shower won’t come off, I believe it’s a T17435(two handles, one for the temperature and the other one for turning the water on)

Hi Dave, thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! To remove the handle on T17435 you will need the 3/32" inch allen wrench. Please also shut the water off if you are planning to remove more than the handle. 1. Please remove the temperature cap located under the pointer part of your handle with the 3/32" inch allen wrench. 2. Once this piece is removed, you will see a plastic piece held in by a philips screwdriver. Please remove this part and be very careful not to drop the screw or the Rotational Limit Stop (looks like a black cog). Please note how this piece is installed. We appreciate your inquiry. So my cartridge doesn’t fit in the old valve is there a similar smaller cartridge I can use or do I have to change the whole valve

Hi Aldo, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T14435-BL. The included cartridge fits an R10000 multichoice valve. This trim kit can also be used with an older 1300 or 1400 series valve that uses an RP19804 cartridge. The new cartridge will not fit the old valve, but the trim can fit the old cartridge and valve. Trying to get the handle off my delta shower, I don’t know the model #

Hi Dave, thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! If you are removing the parts from your shower, please turn the water off to either the home or the valve. Please refer to the instructions below on how to remove our 17 series handle. 1. Please remove the temperature cap located on the tip of your handle by placing your fingers on the 'pointer' of the temperature cap and peeling upwards. This will be a little difficult as it is clipped into the temperature knob. 2. Once this piece is removed, you will see a plastic piece held in by a philips screwdriver. Please remove this part and be very careful not to drop the screw or the Rotational Limit Stop (looks like a black cog). Please note this black cog piece goes in one way. We appreciate your inquiry.
