Great Basic Transitional Style Shower System
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hits all the marks---economical, functional, and fits a transitional aesthetic. Works well so far, and easy for the consumer to adjust water pressure and the temperature limiter, which I was able to do myself because I wanted a hotter shower.

Nice!
I used this to replace my old system and thought it was much better overall. The matte black looks a lot better in my opinion than the silver I used to have. It also is easier to use and clean when I am in the shower. I feel like there isn't as much water that leaks and doesn't use as much water pressure as the older model we were using. My husband and his father put this into our bathroom, since his father does home improvement on numerous homes.

Amazing invention
Love this, i have always dreaded the shower when others are home as i dont want the different temps getting me or burning me. Great when you have kids in the house it makes it safe. I would recommend it to everyone

Does this valve operate by rotating only, or does it "pull out" to allow flow?

Thanks for your question regarding T14458-BL! RP77350BL is a non-diverting tub spout; however, RP73371BL is a tub spout with a pull-up diverter.

can i use this valve/trim to control a handheld and a shower head? Is there a diverter application on this trim set? If not, Can I connect it to a panel that already has diverter switch and shower head?

No, the TRINSIC® Shower Trim MODEL#: T14258-BLLHD does not have a diverter. You can however purchase a Universal Showering 3-Way Shower Arm Diverter MODEL#: U4929-BL-PK to switch between the two.

Is there a diverter trim that includes the "Geared handle design, that matches the Trinsic® H2O Shower Trim 1L In Venetian Bronze ( Geared design handle? MODEL#: T14258-RB ... Is the main valve included in this kit?

The Delta Faucet model T14258-RB H2O Shower Trim 1L In Venetian Bronze does not have a matching diverter trim available with the gear handle. The Delta Faucet model R10000-UNBX MultiChoice® Universal Tub / Shower Rough - Universal Inlets / Outlets is recommended for this trim and will have to be purchased separately.

The knob only turns 90 degrees, is that normal? I would have expected to turn a whole 180 deg to get a better way to find the right temperature…

Thank you for your question regarding our Delta Faucet T14058-SS.
Our cartridges include a Rotational Limit Stop that limits the amount of hot water allowed to mix into the valve and needs to be set at the time of installation. Information on adjusting this setting can be found on Step 3, Page 7 of the Maintenance and Installation manual below.
