Rated 2 out of 5 by from DRIP The shower dripped from first installation. Delta sent a replacement cartridge and a different plumber installed that. All was good until I took a shower that evening and it started dripping worse than ever. I hope this can be fixed. I left a message for the plumber. I love the temperature lever so I just have to turn it on and I am very happy with my steel slide/grab bar and the hand shower with cleaning spray.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wrong instruction sheet The product had been opened and had a mix of parts and wrong instructions. All the parts seem there, but it took a little guess work as a homeowner and not a professional plumber.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great design feature- 2 separate levers to turn water on and set temperature for easy use. Love this sleek design! Easy to regulate water temperature - back lever turns water on front lever is separate so you can set water temperature exactly where you want it and simply turn water on. Great design feature.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaky valve This is made of cheap plastic, and it started dripping just 3 months after installation. I replaced the cartridge, and it is still leaking. I'm planning to replace this whole valve with Kohler or something better.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not worth the money So far not impressed. No water comes out until the valve is over halfway open. I'll be taking it out AGAIN and going to supplier to see what they say. The snap on temperature handle seems to be getting sloppy already and the screen printing on the cover is unreadable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The faucet has worked only for 2 years The faucet was installed in 2020. Looked and worked nice, and now it doesn't allow the flow of hot water at all. Unacceptable! I would not recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great functioning shower handle Works very well to adjust pressure and temperature.

Q&A

I don't see a Trinsic 17T option for a TempAssure cartridge? Does Trinsic trim support that option?

Searching on TempAssure shower valve products, I only find Vero, Ara, and Arzo with contemporary styling. Could I replace the 17 pressure balanced cartridge with the 17T TempAssure in the Trinsic or Compel trims?
Asked by: Mike
Hi Mike, Thank you for your question. You are correct, there is not a Trinsic 17T option available. Unfortunately, you cannot just put the cartridge for the 17T on a 1700 series and use the same handle. It will not fit. Thanks. Jody

Can I replace my TRINSIC® Monitor® 14 Series Valve Only Trim T14059-C. For T17059

Asked by: Ricardo
Thank you for your question, Ricardo! The trim can be replaced if you have a MultiChoice R10000 Valve. If it was installed on an existing 1400 Series valve, the 17 Series trim will not work. MultiChoice Valves will use a gray cartridge and should have the letters "MC" and the word "UP" on the top of the valve, behind the bonnet nut. https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/product/R10000-UNBX Best regards, Jon

I have a divertor to the Trinsic shower valve but I don't have a mixing valve and I can't find it on this page Can you tell me the model # to it ?

Asked by: Eddie
Thank you for your question, Eddie! Model T17059-RB will work with any of our MultiChoice Universal rough-in valves such as the R10000-UNBX. This will mix the water to the desired temperature. This valve will then connect to a the diverting valve R11000 and a corresponding Trinsic diverter trim. https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/product/R11000# https://www.deltafaucet.com/product-comparison?modelNumber=T11859-RB&modelNumber=T11959-RB Best regards, Edward

Can you repost the video for how to adjust the rotational limit stop? The link above no longer works. I'm trying to adjust so the water can be a hotter tempature.

Asked by: Dennis W
Hello Dennis W, Thank you for your question. The Delta Trinsic Valve Trim T17059-CZ contains a rotational limit stop that may need adjusting to allow more hot water to flow through the valve. Included here are the instructions for adjusting the limit stop. We’ve teamed up with DIYers, Mike and Hannah to create a new collection of simple “How-To” troubleshooting and installation videos. The directions are on page 7 of this below document link. https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/76652%20Rev.%20G.pdf Best regards, Tanya

Is there a way to adjust this to make the water hotter? I have the lever cranked all the way to red and it only comes out warm. FYI, it's not related to the hot water tank setting.

Asked by: Timsteele88
Hello Timsteele88, Thank you for contacting us. I apologize for the issue you are experiencing with your Delta shower faucet and I am happy to help you. The temperature can be adjusted by rotating the knob on the front of the volume handle. The rotational limit stop can be adjusted to set the maximum temperature. To do this, remove the temperature knob cover by prying it by hand at the tip. This should pop it off of the gray knob, allowing you to remove the Phillips head screw. Pull off the knob to access the RLS and set it to the desired position. Please refer to section 5 of the below installation instructions for more information. https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/107529%20Rev%20D.pdf Please contact us back directly with any further questions.
