PRODUCT FEATURES
With separate handles for volume and temperature control, this Delta tub/shower provides a more refined showering experience. Simply set the water at your preferred temperature and turn the shower on or off with the volume control handle - without interrupting your set temperature. While other products may gather unsightly mineral build-up over time, Delta soft rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow any mineral residue to simply be wiped away for an instantly refreshed look – with no need for soaking or the aid of chemical cleaners. Delta® pressure-balance valves use Monitor® Technology to protect you and your family from sudden temperature changes. An ornate blend of deep, warm tones and subtle highlights give Venetian Bronze® a hand-brushed look that can transform a bath. Offering a smooth contrast to light tones and coordinating well with darker ones, this finish can have a beautiful soothing effect on almost any space.

No major changes to plumbing were made, is there a way to make the water as hot as it was before we change to the system? Does it have something to do with the temperature control switch and if so what can we do to make it hotter? It’s basically lukewarm when everything in the house is hot.

How / why would Delta release a defective product such as this. I realize its only a decal but I would think that would be an easy thing for Delta to prevent from happening. So frustrating.

Lahara T17238-RB rough valve options?

I would like to replace an old shower valve with the Lahara model. I want to add a hand held shower and 3-way diverter valve at the shower arm (shower only application). I noticed an HF designation for high flow on some of the rough valve options. The standard rough valve appears to be the R10000-UNBXT. Is the R10000-UNBXHF my best option for the rough valve to get the most flow from the unit?

Monitor 17 vs Tempassure 17T

The description on this one (Monitor 17) states that it controls volume. What is the difference between this model and the 17T? Does the Monitor 17's larger handle just turn it on and off or does is actually control the volume? Thank you.

The 17T series has a thermostatic TempAssure cartridge that provides a more precise temperature control. \what components are required to have volume and temperature control?

Hi there, We're building a new house and have only a shower in our main bathroom. It's the volume control that is really important to us so we want to make sure we spec all the correct components. Something tells me we need more than just T17238 and R10000UNWS. Please confirm.

Hi Rockhopper, Thank you for your question. The T17 series does offer temperature and volume control in a single handle shower faucet. The T17238 trim with the R10000-UNWS rough in will give you a complete shower faucet. No other components are required. Thanks, Dave

Hi Evie, Thank you for your question. The model T17238-SS is equipped with a rotational limit stop that allows you to set the max hot water temperature for the faucet. Need separate controls for temperature and volume

What is the simplest shower handle available that can can control temperate and pressure separately? Can I buy that without shower head (we have one already)? Please also suggest correct rough-in assembly.

Models beginning with T170 will include only the trim and cartridge for the valve and can be installed on any R10000 rough-in valve.
