With separate handles for volume and temperature control, this Delta tub/shower provides a more refined showering experience. Simply set the water at your preferred temperature and turn the shower on or off with the volume control handle - without interrupting your set temperature. While other products may gather unsightly mineral build-up over time, Delta soft rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow any mineral residue to simply be wiped away for an instantly refreshed look – with no need for soaking or the aid of chemical cleaners. Delta® pressure-balance valves use Monitor® Technology to protect you and your family from sudden temperature changes. An ornate blend of deep, warm tones and subtle highlights give Venetian Bronze® a hand-brushed look that can transform a bath. I bought this item (T17238-RB) (Venetian Bronze) few weeks ago and I didn't find the bonnet nut in the box. I cannot install the cartridge without the bonnet. Please advise. Please provide part number.

We just installed the new faucet when we had our bathroom redone and the water pressure in the shower is terrible. Is there some kind of filter or something that I can remove or change to get better water pressure

Hello Brian, Thank you for your question! I am happy to help you! Low flow in our Delta units are normally caused by debris or blockage, we recommend flushing. Flushing a shower valve is as follows when all parts are completely out of the brass body that is in the wall, turn the water onto the house and let the water rush out for about a minute or so. We would also recommend removing the showerhead and spout (if you have a spout) and push water through them (back flushing) with an outside water source. However, the rough-in valve can have stops integrated into it to allow for the water supply to be shut off directly from the valve rather than to the entire home. With high water volume temperature is good. When turning volume down water gets cold. Is this an adjustment issue?

I purchased a T17238-SS by mail and when I received it the box had clearly been informed before. I thought all of the prices were provided however screw for the temperature control knob is missing. Can you please specify what size screw is needed. Thanks

I have purchased the universal rough kit diverter and mixing valves. I want to cap the tub port on the mixing valve and control tub, handheld and shower head from diverter. Is there a cartridge that will accommodate this without limiting flow to tub?

Hello, Chris, Thank you for your question regarding our Lahara® Monitor® 17 Series Shower Trim In Chrome MODEL#: T17238. I am sorry this information was not readily available, and I am happy to help you! Unfortunately, we do not offer a diverter cartridge that will accommodate a tub spout. Our diverter trim kit will cover the R11000 Diverter Rough that connects to the top port of a mixing valve rough such as the R10000-UNBX. It is not recommended to divert back down to the tub spout. You may still diverter water from the R10000 using a diverting tub spout or simply cap this port if not needed. The right port of the R11000 would then be capped leaving the left and the top ports for a showerhead and another feature such as a hand shower or body jet. I have a Lahara shower/tub faucet and do not know how to take it apart. I took off the cover, removed the philips head screw and cannot remove the temperature control handle part. Can you help? Is there a specific diagram for this unit?

Hi Tony, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T17238-CZ Lahara® Monitor® 17 Series Shower Trim In Champagne Bronze. We will be happy to assist you as quickly as possible. With the temperature knob cover removed and the Philips screws removed, the temperature knob, rotational limit stop, and the volume handle should all pull straight off from the cartridge. Mineral deposits may be holding the parts in place. We recommend soaking the area with 50/50 white vinegar and water, then rinsing. We recommend flushing the valves of your faucet to increase flow and soaking the shower head in 50% warm water and 50% white vinegar to remove any build up or debris. "HOT" is lukewarm. - Followed the directions for the temp limit stop ...now all the way in max Hot position.  Not much different than in the mid position. What else to try ??? The sink in the same room is NOT a mixing sink (TG) and the hot is actually hot

Can you give me the dimensions of the shower spray on the floor - at the highest setting. Trying decide if a 3' x 3' shower pan is big enough.

Hello Cindi, Thank you for your question. We are happy to help! Unfortunately, we would not be able to say what the dimensions of the spray on the shower pan would be. It would depend on the height at which the showerhead is mounted and the angle it is facing. But this showerhead is less than 5" in diameter and sprays mostly straight and would a good choice for a 3' x 3' shower pan. My customer added a diverter separately from shower value to have hand held spray and shower head, along with tub spout diverter. Is there a conflict here I can not stop the water from leaking out from behind tub spout diverter, please advise
