PRODUCT FEATURES
With separate handles for volume and temperature control, this Delta tub/shower provides a more refined showering experience. Simply set the water at your preferred temperature and turn the shower on or off with the volume control handle - without interrupting your set temperature. While other products may gather unsightly mineral build-up over time, Delta soft rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow any mineral residue to simply be wiped away for an instantly refreshed look – with no need for soaking or the aid of chemical cleaners. Delta® pressure-balance valves use Monitor® Technology to protect you and your family from sudden temperature changes. This Brilliance Stainless finish has subtle, warm undertones which make it an excellent match with nickel or stainless steel and is extremely versatile, complementing nearly any look, be it traditional, transitional or contemporary.
  • Control volume and water temperature independently with two separate handles for more refined control of your shower experience
  • Monitor pressure balance valve keeps water temperature within a safe +/-3degrees F (+/-1.6degrees C), helping to protect you from sudden changes in hot or cold water pressure
  • Spray settings: Pause, Full Body Spray, Full Spray w/Massage, Fast Massage, Soft Drench Spray
  • Trim kit only, must order MultiChoice Universal rough-in separately to complete the unit
  • Soft, rubber Touch-Clean spray holes allow you to easily wipe away calcium and lime build-up from the spray face of your shower head and hand shower with the touch of a finger

You turn the water all the way on and the temperature will be where you last left it! No more gauging how hot/cold the water is, it’s where you last left it! Best invention ever! Thank you Delta

The head is rather standard and nothing unique but does provide good coverage and water flow is adjustable. Great for 2ndary/guest shower. The handle is really nice due to a separate control for temperature. Set the temp, then use main handle to turn on and off. Good bang-for-the-buck. I used the bronze color and is very nice. Confirm that your current shower valve is compatible, other wise, you have to change out the rough-in value, which may be difficult to access; not recommended for the novice.

\what components are required to have volume and temperature control?

Hi there, We're building a new house and have only a shower in our main bathroom. It's the volume control that is really important to us so we want to make sure we spec all the correct components. Something tells me we need more than just T17238 and R10000UNWS. Please confirm.

Hi Rockhopper, Thank you for your question. The T17 series does offer temperature and volume control in a single handle shower faucet. The T17238 trim with the R10000-UNWS rough in will give you a complete shower faucet. No other components are required. Thanks, Dave

Hi Evie, Thank you for your question. The model T17238-SS is equipped with a rotational limit stop that allows you to set the max hot water temperature for the faucet. I accidentally purchased this shower set and actually need the tub/shower kit. Is there a way to purchase the faucet that matches this set so I can use it with the pieces I have (shower head and handle)?

CAN YOU INCREASE VOLUME OF WATER

TITO, Thank you for your question. The shower head included with this trim is designed with a maximum flow rate of 1.75 gallons per minute at 60 PSI. Is this trim plastic or metal?
