With separate handles for volume and temperature control, this Delta tub/shower provides a more refined showering experience. Simply set the water at your preferred temperature and turn the shower on or off with the volume control handle - without interrupting your set temperature. While other products may gather unsightly mineral build-up over time, Delta soft rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow any mineral residue to simply be wiped away for an instantly refreshed look – with no need for soaking or the aid of chemical cleaners. Delta temperature handle
I love Deltas faucet with the temperature handle! I can not find it on any other manufacturer! You turn the water all the way on and the temperature will be where you last left it! No more gauging how hot/cold the water is, it’s where you last left it! Best invention ever! Thank you Delta

Shower head for secondary/guest shower
Great shower head and handle. The head is rather standard and nothing unique but does provide good coverage and water flow is adjustable. Great for 2ndary/guest shower. The handle is really nice due to a separate control for temperature. Set the temp, then use main handle to turn on and off. Good bang-for-the-buck. I used the bronze color and is very nice. Confirm that your current shower valve is compatible, other wise, you have to change out the rough-in value, which may be difficult to access; not recommended for the novice.

Can I install this trim set in shower that currently has Lahara Monitor 14 set? Would I need anything other than this trim kit?
My builder is installing the Lahara Monitor 14 shower & tub trim, but I want this one with the separate temperature and volume control. Would I need anything else / would this be an easy swap?

The R10000-UNBXHF Rough Valve is equipped with a plasterguard to help locate proper installation depth on the wall. This guard is a square outline. Is use of the guard optional since my Schluter shower kit is designed for a round hole?

Thank you for your question. The only piece you are missing from both bath set-ups is the RP71717. This is a cartridge that is installed in place of the one that comes with the R11000. It will make your diverter a non-shared diverter.

What's the difference between a R-10000-UNBX and a R-10000-UNBXT rough-in?

Thank you for your question. The R10000-UNBXT includes a thin-wall mounting kit. This is for applications where you cannot attach the valve to a board in the wall and do not have a trim kit available to install onto the valve. Otherwise, the valves are the same.

Can the hot/cold adjustment be increased in the hot direction? My unit only goes to lukewarm setting and will not increase to a warmer value.
Hello, JimH. Thank you for your question! The Rotational Limit Stop can be adjusted to allow more hot water. To do this, pop off the temperature knob cover, remove the Phillips head screw, and pull of the temperature knob. You can then pull the Rotational Limit Stop out of the handle and adjust it to the desired position. Please also refer to page 7 of the Installation Instructions.

Hi Rockhopper, Thank you for your question. The T17 series does offer temperature and volume control in a single handle shower faucet. The T17238 trim with the R10000-UNWS rough in will give you a complete shower faucet. No other components are required.

Hi Evie, Thank you for your question. The model T17238-SS is equipped with a rotational limit stop that allows you to set the max hot water temperature for the faucet. Step 4 on page 7 of the attached manual will show your how to adjust the RLS and increase the water temperature.

Lahara T17238-RB rough valve options?
I would like to replace an old shower valve with the Lahara model. I want to add a hand held shower and 3-way diverter valve at the shower arm (shower only application). I noticed an HF designation for high flow on some of the rough valve options. The standard rough valve appears to be the R10000-UNBXT. Is the R10000-UNBXHF my best option for the rough valve to get the most flow from the unit?

Thank you for your question. The shower head included with this trim is designed with a maximum flow rate of 1.75 gallons per minute at 60 PSI. We do have other models available with a higher flow rate.

With high water volume temperature is good. When turning volume down water gets cold. Is this an adjustment issue?
I have purchased the universal rough kit diverter and mixing valves. I want to cap the tub port on the mixing valve and control tub, handheld and shower head from diverter. Is there a cartridge that will accommodate this without limiting flow to tub?

Thank you for your question regarding our Lahara® Monitor® 17 Series Shower Trim In Chrome MODEL#: T17238. I am sorry this information was not readily available, and I am happy to help you!
Unfortunately, we do not offer a diverter cartridge that will accommodate a tub spout. Our diverter trim kit will cover the R11000 Diverter Rough that connects to the top port of a mixing valve rough such as the R10000-UNBX. It is not recommended to divert back down to the tub spout. You may still diverter water from the R10000 using a diverting tub spout or simply cap this port if not needed. The right port of the R11000 would then be capped leaving the left and the top ports for a showerhead and another feature such as a hand shower or body jet.
