Delta® H2Okinetic® Showers look different because they are different. Using advanced technology, H2Okinetic showers sculpt water into a unique wave pattern, giving you 3X the coverage of a standard shower head.* The end result is a shower that provides more coverage, more warmth and more intensity for a truly drenching shower experience. With separate handles for volume and temperature control, this Delta tub/shower provides a more refined showering experience. Simply set the water at your preferred temperature and turn the shower on or off with the volume control handle - without interrupting your set temperature. Delta® pressure-balance valves use Monitor® Technology to protect you and your family from sudden temperature changes. Chrome has rapidly become one of the most popular finishes across décor styles in the bath thanks to its stunning gloss and innate versatility. Paired with crisp lines and bright whites, it creates a bold, modern contrast, but it works equally well with vintage styles and traditional spaces to convey a hint of nostalgia. Delta WaterSense labeled faucets, showers and toilets use at least 20% less water than the industry standard—saving you money without compromising performance.
  • H2Okinetic Shower technology sculpts water into a unique wave pattern, forming a powerful drench spray
  • Gives you the feeling of more water without using more water
  • Control volume and water temperature independently with two separate handles for more refined control of your shower experience
  • Monitor pressure balance valve keeps water temperature within a safe +/-3degrees F (+/-1.6degrees C), helping to protect you from sudden changes in hot or cold water pressure
  • Spray settings include: H2OKinetic spray
  • H2Okinetic spray creates a shower with more warmth, coverage and intensity
  • Trim kit only, must order MultiChoice® Universal Valve separately to complete the unit
  • ADA Compliant
  • WaterSense labeled shower heads use at least 20% less water than the industry standard without compromising performance

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Water won't get hot Looks nice, but it won't get hot water. Stays a bland 110 degrees (at most). I suppose it's the stupid "eco-friendly feature". Who invents these stupid things. ITS INFURIATING. Water won't get hot enough. If I want to turn up the friggin water to be hotter, it won't let me. Surely when I turn on Hot Water...I want to get Hot Water. I don't want a mix of hot and cold when I turn on HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great looking fixture at a reasonabale price. His fixture has some of the same H20 technology in other delta fixtures, it’s a nice looking fixture at a more reasonable price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from LOVE-HATE RELATIONSHIP The thing I LOVE about this shower trim package is the valve control. It takes a bit of getting used to, but once you set the temperature, you can easily adjust the water flow. Pure perfection! The thing that I HATE is the shower head. The H2O Kinetic feature sucks. Water comes out of each hole in a fan and I have to turn the water flow down really low to avoid not only getting my entire head wet, but it actually is a bit painful to have it on high. I am purchasing a different shower head and hopefully that will make mine a perfect shower system!

Asked by: dena
Hi, Dena! Thank you for your question. The Delta volume will move when temperature control is adjusted on the Delta Monitor T17259. The Volume for the TempAssure T17T059 trim kit will not move with the temperature control. Here is a link to the unit: https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/product/T17T059 Best Regards, Rosanna

I want to purchase the Monitor 17 Series T17259 Shower Faucet Trim plus R10000-UNBX, Compel Premium handshower (55085) and wall elbow (50560). What else do I require? I do not understand earlier response re R11000 or T11859. Do I need both?

Asked by: Faye
Hello Faye, Thank you for your question. Yes, you would need the Diverter Rough-In Valve R11000 and the matching Trinsic 3-Setting Diverter Trim Kit T11859 to complete your shower installation. The diverter unit will allow you to switch between the shower head and hand shower individually as well as a shared setting. Best regards, Tanya

What does the button labeled OFF control? It shows in the picture but there is not explanation of what it does.

Asked by: Barb
Hi Barb, Thank you for your question. The model T17259 has the words off and on etched onto the round escutcheon, but no off button. The on/off are showing the handle location relative to the water flow. Thanks, Dave

temperature & volume control relationship

I have 2 showers with T17259 shower controls and they both work the same. If the volume control is turned down, the temperature gets colder and can't be maintained hot enough no matter what the temperature lever is set to. If the volume is set close to full on it works fine. The safety temperature limit is turned up all the way on both of these. What can be done about this?
Asked by: Brad
Hi Brad, Thank you for your question. The valve is designed to provide only cold water at low volume as a safety feature. We recommend to use the faucet with the handle all the way to the "ON" position. Best regards, Jon

My Trinsic shower gets very little hot water flow

Brand new shower and no one want to use it because the water doesn't get hot enough. My plumber has adjusted the cartridge as much as he can. What can I do?
Asked by: Slemaster38
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T17259 contains a rotational limit stop that may need adjusting to allow more hot water to flow through the valve. Included here are the instructions for adjusting the limit stop. The directions are on page 9 of this booket. http://www.deltafaucet.com/customersupport/documentation/t17259.html?document=mi&documentIndex=0#flashWrapper Thanks. Jody

Will I be able to upgrade?

I currently have a series 1400 shower trim and I have a few questions: 1- will I be able to upgrade to the trinsic 17 series without digging up our tile wall to change the valve? 2- is there a tub facet that will match this set? Thank you so much in advance!
Asked by: New Yorker
Thank you for your question. If you have a multi-choice valve in your wall with the 1400 series you have now, then you will be able to upgrade to the 1700 Trinsic series. However, if your valve is not a multi-choice valve(Delta Faucet model R10000), then you will not be able to upgrade to the 1700 series without replacing the valve. Trinsic does offer a 1400 series tub and shower which is model # T14459 and a 1700 series tub and shower which is model # T17459. There is not a tub only available model in either level.
