Installing on the other hand took some elbow grease. Not sure if it's because my bathroom is a little older but installation took a little longer then anticipated. But overall I love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful finish If I divert the water to just one part it gets higher pressure, it's only low pressure when both the center and the outer part are both spraying water. I turned it to where it was just spraying from the outer part and the middle and both felt comfortable as far as pressure goes. The center has higher pressure but less overall coverage, obviously.

If I use a R10000-UNWS rough-in valve for this T17464-I faucet, will it reduce the water flow? If so, how much?

How long is the spray hose? It appears to be 60 inces long out of the box, but I was told it should be 69 inches for the model T17464-I. What accounts for the discrepancy?

What parts of this product are plastic ?

RE: Ashlyn Monitor® 17 Series Tub and Shower I have read "Reviews" that state the major parts of the assembly are made of plastic with a chrome finish. I have also read "Reviews" that after average use of the center hand-held section, it eventually wears out and the center hand-held section will not stay in its "home" cradle position. The reviews say that after a while the hand-held section is just left to hang.

Hi Dalerd, Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet mocel # T17464-I has both metallic and non-metallic parts. The showerhead is non-metallic. Regarding the handheld not fitting back into its cradle, we have not had this issue before. The faucet is under a limited lifetime warranty to the original owner. How strong is the water flow from the tub?

Hello MW! Thank you for your question! At 60 PSI, the flow rate of the tub spout should be 6 gallons per minute. At 80 PSI, the flow rate of the tub spout should be 7 gallons a minute. I have attached the Technical Specifications for your perusal if you need more information.

Just installed this unit and cannot get water hot enough. Is the "monitor" causing this?

Are the rest of the parts metal besides the showerhead?

Specifically the tub faucet and the temp and volume control surround? Lots of reviews say these parts are plastic as well. But it is a little unclear.

The faucet does not have a gasket where it connects to the wall. Water is able to get behind the facet and collect on the grouted tile where the pipe comes out of the wall. What should be done to prevent leaks from happening at this point?

Anyone else have issues with very poor water pressure with this Shower Head? Looks great, but there is little to now water pressure. I have a Delta shower head in my basement shower, and it works great; but this one is terrible. Any thoughts or input?

Hi ppfp76, Thank you for contacting us. I apologize for the low flow you are experiencing with your Delta Faucet model T17464-I Ashlyn® Monitor® 17 Series Shower Trim With In2ition® In Chrome. We realize that can be very frustrating and I am happy to assist you! We thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. The most common cause of a low flow rate is debris. The best way to clear any debris is to flush the supply lines. To do this, turn off the water supplies, remove the cartridge, and turn the supplies back on for one minute. Please make sure that you are getting good flow through both the hot and cold sides while flushing. You can also shake the cartridge back and forth to make sure the back half of the cartridge rattles. This means that the pressure-balancing spool is moving freely, as it should. If the issue remains, soak the showerhead in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Please contact us directly via email as we would like to resolve this matter for you at this time. my water pressure is terrible, any suggestions ? I don't see any blue water flow restrictor

Hello Valued Customer, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! The maximum GPM of the 58498 In2ition shower head is 1.75 GPM at 60 PSI. The tub spout GPM ranges anywhere between 5 GPM and 12 GPM. The nubbins on the shower head are easy to clean, all you have to do is swipe your finger across the nubbins. If this does not help, you can remove the shower head and turn the water on to allow water to come out of just the shower arm. If this does not work, re-attach the shower head and turn off the water supplies. Remove the handle and the internal parts and flush the valve for about a minute.
