Where can I find a bath drain and overflow kit(preferably with cable) or at least the SS drain trim kit to match the Ashlyn T17464-SS valve and trim?

Do I have to purchase the valve assembly?

I am replacing a ten year old Delta tub and shower trim. I have a delta valve currently. Replacing it would entail cutting through the drywall in the adjacent room. I would rather not do that if I don't have to. I am attaching a photo of the current trim assembly.

Hi Kim, Thank you for your question. If your pictured faucet is 10 years old it would be a 1300/1400 series faucet. Any of our new T13/T14 series faucet trims will work with your existing rough in valve. The new faucet trim will ship with a new cartridge. This new cartridge will not work with your existing rough in, you will need to continue to use the existing cartridge or order a new RP19804. The model T17464 that you linked to the question will not work with your existing rough in, you would have to change the plumbing in the wall. Thanks, Dave

Ashlyn series 17 tub and shower trim

We like the model but the square doesn't completely cover the hole in the tile. Is it possible to swap a round valve plate for that square one?

Dear Bill D, Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta Ashlyn Tub and Shower T17464 faucet comes with a 6" (152 mm) square escutcheon plate. We do not make a larger plate or a outer trim plate for this collection. However the models T17451, T17452, T17467, and T17474 have larger size square shaped escutcheon plates, than the Ashlyn T17464 model. Best regards, Tanya

The Ashlyn tub spout has a square black plastic piece inside the spout that severely limits the water flow into the tub. Can that piece be removed?

Does the tub spout come as a slip on type? I received the type where you have to solder an adapter onto the copper pipe.

Your owner's manual says, "To clean, simply wipe gently with a damp cloth and blot dry with a soft towel." Ok, how do I get the white water spots off??? Following your directions does NOTHING.

Hi, Vicki! We appreciate your purchase and are happy to help guide you with the best care recommendations for your new product. Although our finishes are extremely durable, they may be damaged by harsh abrasives or polish. To clean, we recommend simply wiping with a gentle damp cloth and then blotting dry with a soft towel. If water deposits are especially troublesome, you may use a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water to remove them. White vinegar is strong enough to dissolve mineral deposits, yet mild enough not to damage our finishes. Note: Please be aware white vinegar may stain some porous materials like untreated stone. If you have an unsealed tile or counter top, please take care when cleaning your products. If you’d prefer using a chemical cleaning product, our finishes may be cleaned with the following household cleaners: Formula 409® Antibacterial All-Purpose Cleaner, Fantastic® All-Purpose Cleaner, or Windex® Original Glass Cleaner, when used according to the manufacturer’ instructions. Any cleaners not listed above may be tried if they do not contain hydrofluoric, hydrochloric and/or phosphoric acids or similar caustic agents. Some examples of chemical cleaners to avoid are: green Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponges, Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner and Lysol Basin Tub, and Soft Scrub and Tile Cleaner. Note: Any products that state on the label that they remove tarnish and rust will most likely harm the finished products. Most drain cleaners may be used when following their specific directions and not allowing exposure to the finish longer than 30 minutes. We are installing the Ashlyn T17264-bl-i shower trim and having difficulty snapping on the temperature control knob. Can you please advise?
