PRODUCT FEATURES
With separate handles for volume and temperature control, this Delta tub/shower provides a more refined showering experience. Simply set the water at your preferred temperature and turn the shower on or off with the volume control handle - without interrupting your set temperature. While other products may gather unsightly mineral build-up over time, Delta soft rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow any mineral residue to simply be wiped away for an instantly refreshed look – with no need for soaking or the aid of chemical cleaners. Delta® thermostatic valves use TempAssure® Technology to protect you and your family from sudden temperature changes. This Brilliance Stainless finish has subtle, warm undertones which make it an excellent match with nickel or stainless steel and is extremely versatile, complementing nearly any look, be it traditional, transitional or contemporary.
  • Control volume and water temperature independently with two separate handles for more refined control of your shower experience
  • TempAssure thermostatic valve keeps water temperature within a safe +/-3degrees F (+/-1.6degrees C), helping to protect you from sudden changes in hot or cold water pressure

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple and perfect I put a lot of time into researching what I wanted when I was converting my shower/tub into a walk-in shower. There are many "bells and whistles" for consumers to choose from, but my main concern was quality, functionality and appearance. I didn't want a hand-wand or any extra parts to crowd the wall or go unused. I wanted good water pressure and a nice even stream, as well as temperature and flow control. This hardware checks all the boxes! Taking a shower is such a wonderfully relaxing experience!

I love that the water temperature can always be kept at the perfect temperature for me and no adjusting every time you turn the shower on. This feature alone is worth the price on this shower head system.

I am interested in purchasing the Lahara TempAssure 17T model T17T238-SS. the model R10000-UNBX valve is required. I would also like to add a separate universal slide bar hand shower 51708-SS. What controls and valve do I need for it?

Hi, Kathy! Thank you for your question. We would recommend a Delta Diverter 3 setting Trim Kit such as the T11800-SS along with the Delta Diverter Rough Body, R11000. can I use the shower head from the 132900-A on a T17T238-ss which is a high flow. Will the 132900-A handle the high flow.

Thank you for your question, Dale! The shower head found on model 132900-A can be used with the T17T238-ss shower trim however this is a WaterSense labeled shower head and is only designed to produce 1.75 gpm @ 80 psi. This flow will not increase using the TempAssure trim but can be used in place of the shower head. Best regards, Edward

Will there be enough volume for body sprays and hand shower added?

Does this valve provide enough volume for adding 3 body sprays and 1 hand shower with a diverter? It seems like a 3/4 rough in valve would be better...

Hello Sascha, Thank you for your questions. The diverter rough in valve allows 6.5 GPM at 80 PSI. Depending on which Delta products are purchased, it is possible to have enough water for all five products. Best Regards, Courtney

Will this shower trim work with both the R10000-UNBX (Universal Single Box Model) and the R10000-UNBXHF (High Flow Shower Only)? If so, is there any difference in performance if the high flow multichoice valve is used?

Thank you for your question, Anthony! Model T17T238 can be used with either valve however the UNBX version will need the tub spout port capped if not using a tub spout with your installation. The High Flow Shower Only version will already have this port capped and will have a slightly higher flow rate as it is designed for showers only. With this TempAssure trim you can expect 9.1gpm,34.5L/min using the R10000-UNBX rough-in valve versus 9.3gpm,35.2 L/min using the R10000-UNBXHF rough-in valve. Best regards, Edward

Does the 17T Series Shower Trim need extra valves for on and off?

Does this valve turn on and off the water by it's self or does it take other valves? And is this valve easy to rebuild? If there is a problem with the seat.

One valve. Two knobs. Does it all. Adjust temp and turn on and off without changing the temp. Mounted so valve can be easily replaced without damage to tile. Plumber did mine but told me the insert can be easily replaced. Lifetime warranty on the valve for the original homeowner.
