PRODUCT FEATURES
With separate handles for volume and temperature control, this Delta tub/shower provides a more refined showering experience. Simply set the water at your preferred temperature and turn the shower on or off with the volume control handle - without interrupting your set temperature. While other products may gather unsightly mineral build-up over time, Delta soft rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow any mineral residue to simply be wiped away for an instantly refreshed look – with no need for soaking or the aid of chemical cleaners. Delta® thermostatic valves use TempAssure® Technology to protect you and your family from sudden temperature changes. This Brilliance Stainless finish has subtle, warm undertones which make it an excellent match with nickel or stainless steel and is extremely versatile, complementing nearly any look, be it traditional, transitional or contemporary.
  • Control volume and water temperature independently with two separate handles for more refined control of your shower experience
  • TempAssure thermostatic valve keeps water temperature within a safe +/-3degrees F (+/-1.6degrees C), helping to protect you from sudden changes in hot or cold water pressure
  • Spray settings include: Full Body spray
  • Full body spray provides a steady, full-coverage spray perfect for every shower need, from rinsing shampoo from hair to relaxing tired muscles
  • Soft, rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow you to easily wipe away calcium and lime build-up from the spray face of your shower head and hand shower with the touch of a finger
  • Trim kit only, must order MultiChoice Universal Valve separately to complete the unit
  • ADA Compliant

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful, high quality product. I am very satisfied with this shower head and valve trim. It works as it should, is elegant and sophisticated looking. The shower head provides a firm, comfortable, steady spray. Highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple and perfect I put a lot of time into researching what I wanted when I was converting my shower/tub into a walk-in shower. There are many "bells and whistles" for consumers to choose from, but my main concern was quality, functionality and appearance. I didn't want a hand-wand or any extra parts to crowd the wall or go unused. I wanted good water pressure and a nice even stream, as well as temperature and flow control. This hardware checks all the boxes! Taking a shower is such a wonderfully relaxing experience!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality shower head system It’s a good shower head but wish it had a few more settings, which is why I gave it 4 stars. I love that the water temperature can always be kept at the perfect temperature for me and no adjusting every time you turn the shower on. This feature alone is worth the price on this shower head system.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good purchase. Best price I found for this complete system. Very good quality, heavy brass construction and the major components were made in the U.S., which is very important to me. I liked the fact that you said where each part was made. Fast shipping also.

Q&A

Handshower vs Tubfiller

Aloha, The fixture description indicates that (with the appropriate rough-in) this fixture will divert to a Tub Filler. Will this unit divert to a handshower instead of a tub filler, or is a separate diverter valve required? Cheers, Scott
Asked by: Scott
Hello Scott, Thank you for your question! You will not be able to connect a hand held shower to the down spout nipple of the valve body. That pipe is only use for a tub spout. You would have to order a separate diverter for a hand held shower. Best regards, Brandis

Is the shower head stationary in one position or can it move from side to side?

Asked by: LandM
Hi, LandM! Thank you for your question. The Delta TempAssure T17T238 Shower Head does adjust and swivel left/right and up/down. The shower head is not stationary. Best Regards, Rosanna

If the shower is on does the volume control move separately without moving the handle?

If you attempt to move the volume control does the handle move as well forcing you two use two hands? One to hold the handle so it doesn't move and the other to adjust the volume.
Asked by: Looking
Hi Looking, Thank you for your question. The temperature knob and volume handle will rotate independently. Adjusting the volume handle will not change the temperature setting. Best regards, Jon

We just installed the T17T238-SS and used the Delta Faucet R10000-UNWSHF MultiChoice Shower Valve Body. We are not getting very much water pressure at all. What could be wrong? Did I get the wrong Valve?

what rough in valve is needed to use with the T17T238 shower only kit with T11800 diverter for a shower wand and shower head? I have the Delta R11000 rough in valve for the diverter, but do I need another rough in valve?

Asked by: girlyworker
Hi girlyworker, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T17T238. Yes, the rough in valve for this shower trim is an R10000, model R10000-UNBX for example. The T11800 diverter trim with R11000 valve can then also be used to add a hand shower. The output of the R10000 mixing valve would be connected to the input of the R11000 diverter valve. Please contact us directly if you have any additional questions! Best Regards, Bryan Digital Communications Specialist
