PRODUCT FEATURES
With separate handles for volume and temperature control, this Delta tub/shower provides a more refined showering experience. Simply set the water at your preferred temperature and turn the shower on or off with the volume control handle - without interrupting your set temperature. While other products may gather unsightly mineral build-up over time, Delta soft rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow any mineral residue to simply be wiped away for an instantly refreshed look – with no need for soaking or the aid of chemical cleaners. Delta® thermostatic valves use TempAssure® Technology to protect you and your family from sudden temperature changes. Chrome has rapidly become one of the most popular finishes across décor styles in the bath thanks to its stunning gloss and innate versatility. Paired with crisp lines and bright whites, it creates a bold, modern contrast, but it works equally well with vintage styles and traditional spaces to convey a hint of nostalgia.

This worked perfectly! It gives the ability to set your temperature once, and the integrated volume control is all you have to turn for on/off. The fixture is well made and durable. I like how this style blends well with the existing fixtures. It pretty much goes with anything, traditional or more contemporary.

They like the fact the temp can be set to a desired setting then it's simply on and off from that point. The product works as intended which equals quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what we were looking for. Remodeled showers. Purchased 3 of these. One for a small bathroom and 2 for the other bathroom... My wife and I can shower together and have our own temperature and comfort level. We are both getting up in age and I need to help my wife sometimes. We installed safety grab bars, these shower heads and Delta hand held shower heads on flexible hoses. Diverters on on all shower heads to control the flow to the top shower head or the flexible hand held shower head or BOTH at the same time. Like the flow and control... Regular shower head and hand held. Temp and pressure adjust separately. I like my shower warmer than my wife likes hers. Once adjusted the water can be turned on and off without changing the temperature. Great purchase.

It is not super powerful, but I like its feel and it rinses well. The control handle seems to be working quite well. I like the two-settings feature of these.

We have a grandchild that spends a lot of time in the shower and we don't have to worry about him getting scalded. Looks beautiful as well. We added the handheld as well. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awsome Faucet Fantastic shower faucet! The double handle allows you to set you comfort temperature and forget it. Also being able to vary the water pressure if helpful to conserve hot water. We have been using this hanle with a Delta In2ition shower head.

Will this shower trim work with both the R10000-UNBX (Universal Single Box Model) and the R10000-UNBXHF (High Flow Shower Only)? If so, is there any difference in performance if the high flow multichoice valve is used?

Thank you for your question, Anthony! Model T17T238 can be used with either valve however the UNBX version will need the tub spout port capped if not using a tub spout with your installation. The High Flow Shower Only version will already have this port capped and will have a slightly higher flow rate as it is designed for showers only. With this TempAssure trim you can expect 9.1gpm,34.5L/min using the R10000-UNBX rough-in valve versus 9.3gpm,35.2 L/min using the R10000-UNBXHF rough-in valve. Best regards, Edward

Does the 17T Series Shower Trim need extra valves for on and off?

Does this valve turn on and off the water by it's self or does it take other valves? And is this valve easy to rebuild? If there is a problem with the seat.

One valve. Two knobs. Does it all. Adjust temp and turn on and off without changing the temp. Mounted so valve can be easily replaced without damage to tile. Plumber did mine but told me the insert can be easily replaced. Lifetime warranty on the valve for the original homeowner.

Handshower vs Tubfiller

Aloha, The fixture description indicates that (with the appropriate rough-in) this fixture will divert to a Tub Filler. Will this unit divert to a handshower instead of a tub filler, or is a separate diverter valve required? Cheers, Scott

Hello Scott, Thank you for your question! You will not be able to connect a hand held shower to the down spout nipple of the valve body. That pipe is only use for a tub spout. You would have to order a separate diverter for a hand held shower. Best regards, Brandis

Is the shower head stationary in one position or can it move from side to side?

If the shower is on does the volume control move separately without moving the handle?

If you attempt to move the volume control does the handle move as well forcing you two use two hands? One to hold the handle so it doesn't move and the other to adjust the volume.

I am interested in purchasing the Lahara TempAssure 17T model T17T238-SS. the model R10000-UNBX valve is required. I would also like to add a separate universal slide bar hand shower 51708-SS. What controls and valve do I need for it?
