With separate handles for volume and temperature control, this Delta tub/shower provides a more refined showering experience. Simply set the water at your preferred temperature and turn the shower on or off with the volume control handle - without interrupting your set temperature. All of my faucets, the shower system, towel and grab bars are in the Champaign bronze finish. Since I've only had a couple of showers, I am still tinkering with the temp. Enjoy rinsing my hair with the separate sprayer. Pressure is pretty good.

Is the Dryden square shower head adjustable side to side of up and down or is it stationary in one position?

Hi. I have the Dryden 17 series shower in champagne bronze. Today I noticed some oxidation along the sides of the shower head. What is best recommended for cleaning and to prevent this from happening given this particular finish?

Thank you for your inquiry, Darren! To clean, we recommend to take the shower head off of the shower arm. This can be soaked in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water mixture. This can be soaked for an hour or even overnight to help clear out any debris that maybe causing the flow issue. Best regards, Tanya

compatibility with older cartridges

Greetings, Will this two handle set up work with the older Monitor 1300/1400 cartridges, or does it need then post 2006 multi-choice valve? If I ordered the new RP19804 cartridge would it work? Thanks! -Joshua

Thank your for your question. Delta Faucet model # T17t251-RB will work with the old 1700 valves but not with the old 1300/1400 valves. If you do have an old 1700 valve, just keep your old cartridge and do no use the one that comes with the trim. If you are trying to convert an old 1300/1400 to this new trim, you will have to change the valve to the multi-choice R10000-UNBX valve.

Replace with handheld shower?

I would like to replace this shower head with a handheld shower so that I can more easily clean my shower. Would something like 55051-RB or 58045-RB work? And if so, what else do I need? Also, I like the Dryden because the rest of my fixtures are Dryden; however, the handheld looks small and may not provide enough spray. Would the 58045 have better water output.

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T17T251 can have a handheld shower in place of the showerhead. We have a few available in the Dryden series. Delta Faucet model # 55051 has a water flow of 2.0 gpm at 80 psi, and hangs on the wall. Delta Faucet model # 57051 also has a flow rate of 2.0 at 80 psi, and has a slide bar with it. Delta Faucet model # 58470 is our In2ition two-in one showerhead that has 2.5 gpm at 80 psi.

Looking at Dryden or Ashlyn series set up. All brused nickel in my bath. Is the Stainless you offer close? would like it to match.

How do I remove the shower head restricter in the Dryden model?

Hi, Bill! Thank you for your question. The flow restrictor in the Delta T17T251-SS shower head is not a removable part. We recommend to not attempt to remove this from the shower head as it may result in voiding any warranty you may have for the unit. Best Regards, Rosanna

Shower value 17 T

I would like to increase the water temperature out of the shower during the winter months. I tried increasing the water heater temperature but it didn't change the shower temperature. So can I make an adjustment to the value that will allow me to increase the water temperature at the shower? If so sent me instructions.

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T17T251 contains a rotational limit stop that may need adjusting to allow more hot water to flow through your valve.
