Only hiccup we had was with the TempAssure system which wasnt working correctly and once I contacted Delta customer Service they sent us a new temperature valve free of charge and immediately. Had the plumber replace it and now works perfectly. Its great when a company stands by their product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delta - Dryden I had Delta Dryden shower trim package installed during the remodel in our master bathroom. The installation was completed by an experienced plumber and, as far as I know, neither he nor his apprentice, found the installation difficult. I like the look of the trim set (I also bought matching faucets and a Roman tub filler) in chrome. Paired with the cool Kichler chrome light fixtures (also found on Build.com), the trim package creates a modern, somewhat angular look that I was going for. It pairs nicely with the Kohler Memoirs bath fixtures (sink, bathtub). The products are easy to use. I am new to thermostatic valve controls (thermostatic valves were installed during this remodel), but they turned out to be very easy to use: takes 5 seconds to get used to them. I would definitely recommend the product to a friend.

The only thing I don't like is the temperature controls handle.It is very hard to turn . It sounds like the metal is rubbing together . It was installed correctly twice just to make sure. All parts were used. Left screw loose to see if that would help but then everything was wobbly. Not sure if something was missing from box. Other than that I'm pretty happy. Also there were some dark spots on the handles looked like glue. But not really sure. I'm the plumber by trade and the homeowner.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from LEAKS after 1.5 years!! Seriously!!! We built a new house and moved in May 16, 2014. We believed that Delta was the best faucet company over Kohler and Moen based on previous experience. However, after 1.5 years we have four faucets which are dripping non stop. These faucets were purchased directly from Delta.com, we did not buy cheaper models from big box stores because we wanted a quality, well respected and a faucet with longevity. However, I cannot tell you how disappointed we are with these products. We purchased the Addison faucets: Kitchen and Bar/Prep faucet. We purchased four: DRYDEN™ TempAssure® 17T Series Shower Trim I think these faucets need to be replaced, and I think it would be horrendous if we were required to AGAIN pay a plumber to install new plumbing fixtures after 1.5 years because of your defective product. Your product promises DIAMOND Seal Technology features a valve embedded with diamonds to ensure like-new operation for the life of the faucet

Rated 1 out of 5 by from the dryden stainless is really cheap looking the Dryden is a product of ugly plastic parts and cheap looking metal pieces. I really wanted the clean lines. Our plumber put it in and I have never been so disappointed it looks really cheap and of poor quality. We bought the shower and tub set to adapt to a tub only and I could not get stainless drain cover and the knob to lift the drain in stainless. It was already put in when I was told. UGLY AND CHEAP LOOKING WOULD LOVE TO BE ABLE TO RETURN IT.

I have ordered it in the past and have been very satisfied with it, unfortunately, this time I have found that Delta has begun using PLASTIC for some of the exterior parts. In this case it is the actual exterior shower head. Very disappointed in Delta for getting so cheap on a not so cheap product! Also found that one of the rubber O-rings was missing a big chunk of rubber out of it. Thank goodness for a installer that is diligent at inspecting these components before installing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed with spray from shower head The spray from the shower head is fine in the cold position, but when you turn the temp control handle to the warm cycle the amount of spray from the shower head declines in a hurry. Professional Plumber rechecked the install and found no problems. I had a Kohler shower head which worked much better,

Is the Dryden square shower head adjustable side to side of up and down or is it stationary in one position?

Hi. I have the Dryden 17 series shower in champagne bronze. Today I noticed some oxidation along the sides of the shower head. What is best recommended for cleaning and to prevent this from happening given this particular finish?

Thank you for your inquiry, Darren! To clean, we recommend to take the shower head off of the shower arm. This can be soaked in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water mixture. This can be soaked for an hour or even overnight to help clear out any debris that maybe causing the flow issue. Best regards, Tanya

compatibility with older cartridges

Greetings, Will this two handle set up work with the older Monitor 1300/1400 cartridges, or does it need then post 2006 multi-choice valve? If I ordered the new RP19804 cartridge would it work? Thanks! -Joshua

Thank your for your question. Delta Faucet model # T17t251-RB will work with the old 1700 valves but not with the old 1300/1400 valves. If you do have an old 1700 valve, just keep your old cartridge and do no use the one that comes with the trim. If you are trying to convert an old 1300/1400 to this new trim, you will have to change the valve to the multi-choice R10000-UNBX valve.

Replace with handheld shower?

I would like to replace this shower head with a handheld shower so that I can more easily clean my shower. Would something like 55051-RB or 58045-RB work? And if so, what else do I need? Also, I like the Dryden because the rest of my fixtures are Dryden; however, the handheld looks small and may not provide enough spray. Would the 58045 have better water output.

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T17T251 can have a handheld shower in place of the showerhead. We have a few available in the Dryden series. Delta Faucet model # 55051 has a water flow of 2.0 gpm at 80 psi, and hangs on the wall. Delta Faucet model # 57051 also has a flow rate of 2.0 at 80 psi, and has a slide bar with it. Delta Faucet model # 58470 is our In2ition two-in one showerhead that has 2.5 gpm at 80 psi.

Looking at Dryden or Ashlyn series set up. All brused nickel in my bath. Is the Stainless you offer close? would like it to match.

How do I remove the shower head restricter in the Dryden model?

Hi, Bill! Thank you for your question. The flow restrictor in the Delta T17T251-SS shower head is not a removable part. We recommend to not attempt to remove this from the shower head as it may result in voiding any warranty you may have for the unit. Best Regards, Rosanna

Shower value 17 T

I would like to increase the water temperature out of the shower during the winter months. I tried increasing the water heater temperature but it didn't change the shower temperature. So can I make an adjustment to the value that will allow me to increase the water temperature at the shower? If so sent me instructions.

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T17T251 contains a rotational limit stop that may need adjusting to allow more hot water to flow through your valve.
