Hi, Hobe! Thank you for your question. The rotational limit stop for the Delta T17T253 unit can be adjusted for hotter water. To adjust, Remove the temperature control knob from splines. Rotate temperature control knob clockwise. Place temperature control knob back onto splines and continue to rotate counter-clockwise until maximum desired temperature is achieved. Remove the temperature knob and replace onto the splines, making sure that the temperature knob limit stop hits against the volume handle limit stop. Thank you for your question. We do one shower arm that reaches longer than the 16" on Delta Faucet model # T17T253. It is model # U6930 and will extend from 13"-22".

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T17T253 can have a hand held shower added to it. We recommend using the Delta Faucet model R11000 diverter rough with the T11853 diverter trim. There are two hand held showers with this series. Delta Faucet model # 55530 is a wall mount handshower and 57530 is a slide mount handshower that comes with a wall bar. Using either one of those will require a wall elbow which is model 50560.

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T17T253 can have a handheld shower and body sprays added to it. We recommend using the R11000 diverter rough along with the T11953 6-setting 3-port diverter trim. We have a couple of handshowers to recommend. Model 55530 is a wall-mount handshower, and model 57530 is a slide bar handshower. Either handshower will need model 50570 wall elbow. We also can recommend a couple of body sprays. We have an H2Okinetic spray at 1.8 gpm in model 50101 and a 2.0 gpm body spray in model 50150.

Hi Beja, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T17T253. The included showerhead is designed to limit the maximum flow rate to 2.5 gallons per minute or 1.75 gpm for water efficient (WE) models. The flow restrictor in the showerhead is not designed to be removable. To troubleshoot an issue with the flow, we recommend unscrewing the showerhead and running full mixed water for a minute to check the flow from the shower arm and flush out the shower valve. Our Delta Faucet Vero® TempAssure® 17T Series Shower Trim In Chrome MODEL#: T17T253 has a flow rate of 2.5 GPM @ 80 PSI, if you are experiencing low flow then we would recommend flushing and soaking the unit. I have included the flushing instructions below. To flush the open valve without the cartridge, please follow the directions below. 1) Remove the handle by loosening the set screw on the side of the base of the handle. The set screw is either a 1/8" or 3/32" Allen screw. So you will need to use the appropriate size Allen wrench to loosen it. Loosen it just enough to be able to easily pull the handle off. * Note. If there is calcium build-up at the base of the handle, it may be necessary to soak it in a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water. Simply saturate the rag with the 50/50 solution, wrap it around the handle base and place a plastic bag over it. I would recommend do this the night before removing the handle. 2) After removing the handle, remove the trim sleeve. 3) Then you will need to remove the bonnet nut. The bonnet nut is the threaded ring at the valve opening. It unscrews counterclockwise. You will need a pipe wrench or a pair of channel locks. 4) After removing the bonnet nut, you will need to pull the cartridge straight out. You may need a small, skinny bladed screwdriver to wedge in between the lip of the cartridge and the valve to help start it out. 5) Once the cartridge is removed, you will have an open valve body. 6) Next, shut the shower door or curtain and turn the water on to the valve. Water should gush out, much like an open fire hydrant. Have someone observe if there is good water pressure coming out of the valve and let it flush for 30 seconds. 7) Re-install the cartridge and re-assemble in reverse of how it was disassembled. Soaking the shower head if any debris has made its way up the shower unit to the head can cause a low flow, please soak the shower head in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water.
