Thank you for your question. We cannot recommend one raincan over another raincan. They are all going to have about the same splash range. The Cassidy raincan showerhead is 8 inches in diameter and is single function and does swivel. We do not manufacture a raincan showerhead with a multi function setting.

Thank you for your question, JoAnn! I do apologize that you are not getting warm water, but will be more than happy to help! If the RP47201 valve cartridge that this unit takes, is put in upside down, it can prevent the temperature from getting lukewarm. There is a H and C marking on the base of the cartridge along the black plastic. The H should generally be on the left and the C would be on the right. If you have a back to back installation, meaning hot water comes in on the right and cold water comes in on the left you would want to have the C facing the left and H facing the right. Hi Gay, Thank you for your question. TempAssure® Thermostatic valves monitor the temperature of the water and adjust the mix automatically to maintain precise temperature control and to keep the water temperature in your shower within a safe ±3.6° F (±1.7° C). This provides a more consistent temperature than pressure balanced valves can supply. TempAssure valves also feature an adjustable high-temperature limit stop that when properly set helps ensure the handle cannot be turned to a position that is too hot for comfort. And because TempAssure measures the temperature of water, the handle limit stop will not need to be adjusted for seasonal ground water temperature changes. Basically when you install the faucet you will set the max hot water temperature by adjusting the rotational limit stop to a safe/non scalding water temperature. The valve will not allow the temperature to exceed this limit. Thanks, Dave

Hi Christy47, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T17T297-SS. Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. We are happy to help! This may be caused by the cartridge being reversed or by reversed supplies. Due to the way thermostatic valves are designed, the cartridge is expecting to get hot water from a specific inlet. If the cartridge is put in upside down, it can cause no water flow, low water flow, varying temperatures, or only hot or cold water. The easiest way to troubleshoot this is to flip the cartridge if it's not working properly. Shut off water supplies. Remove handle assembly, trim sleeve, and bonnet nut. Check to make sure the “H” marking on the cartridge aligns with the hot inlet and the “C” marking on the cartridge aligns with the cold inlet to the valve body. Brushed Nickel has a semi-glossy or matte finish, easily displays spots, is more challenging to maintain, has an inferior type of finish, and is costly.
