With separate handles for volume and temperature control, this Delta tub/shower provides a more refined showering experience. Simply set the water at your preferred temperature and turn the shower on or off with the volume control handle - without interrupting your set temperature. Designed to look like new for life, Brilliance® finishes are developed using a proprietary process that creates a durable, long-lasting finish that is guaranteed not to corrode, tarnish or discolor. While other products may gather unsightly mineral build-up over time, Delta soft rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow any mineral residue to simply be wiped away for an instantly refreshed look – with no need for soaking or the aid of chemical cleaners. Delta® thermostatic valves use TempAssure® Technology to protect you and your family from sudden temperature changes. Take the chill out of contemporary with the eloquent warmth of Champagne Bronze™ in your bath. I chose the chrome finish since that looked the best with the quartzite and marble I picked out for the vanity & shower. I can't wait for the renovation to be completed.

Matching hand shower?

I require a traditional, champagne bronze wall-mount hand shower to pair with this trim kit. For my adjacent roman tub, I will be using T4795-CZLHP H695CZ which does have a traditional deck-mount hand shower. Can that hand shower also be purchased a la carte and wall mounted so that my hand showers will match? If not, what options does Delta offer to complete this plumbing suite? Thank you.

my temperature control gives hot or cold but not warm. what are possible causes of this?

Thank you for your question, JoAnn! I do apologize that you are not getting warm water, but will be more than happy to help! If the RP47201 valve cartridge that this unit takes, is put in upside down, it can prevent the temperature from getting lukewarm. There is a H and C marking on the base of the cartridge along the black plastic. The H should generally be on the left and the C would be on the right. If you have a back to back installation, meaning hot water comes in on the right and cold water comes in on the left you would want to have the C facing the left and H facing the right. Is all of the hardware in the picture included in the price?

Thank you for your question, Kenneth! Model T17T297-CZ includes a Shower arm, shower head and control volume trim plate with handles. The valve is not included however and will require a MultiChoice Universal Rough-in valve. Best regards, Edward

Which parts are plastic?

I have seen several complaints in reviews about this trim kit being plastic, and the above reply to a question regarding this issue said parts of it are metallic and parts are plastic. I would like details about which parts of the exterior, on the showerhead and on the faucet control, are plastic, please.

How far out does the arm supporting the raincan head extend from the wall
