PRODUCT FEATURES
With separate handles for volume and temperature control, this Delta tub/shower provides a more refined showering experience. Simply set the water at your preferred temperature and turn the shower on or off with the volume control handle - without interrupting your set temperature. While other products may gather unsightly mineral build-up over time, Delta soft rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow any mineral residue to simply be wiped away for an instantly refreshed look – with no need for soaking or the aid of chemical cleaners. Delta® thermostatic valves use TempAssure® Technology to protect you and your family from sudden temperature changes. This Brilliance Stainless finish has subtle, warm undertones which make it an excellent match with nickel or stainless steel and is extremely versatile, complementing nearly any look, be it traditional, transitional or contemporary.

The shower is new and the shower head fixture is fantastic. It is like a raining shower head without having it directly over head. Overhead would require additional plumbing. We get the same effect without the extra cost. Love it

The features on this setup are excellent and I love to be able to keep my shower at the temp I want all the time without fudging the handle daily.The second handle for pressure is also a great feature for a master bathroom where adults like different settings. This kit was easy to install and easy to use and the shower head is super easy to clean which is a plus for me with terrible hard water.

Both my husband and I absolutely love this and highly highly recommend. if you are on the fence, get it! We of the dual controls as well. Very unique.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Put this in our Million Dollar Home [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Built a custom home in Williamson Co TN and needed the look and feel of a high end fixture but at a reasonable price. This was the perfect solution for us. We have a his and hers master shower with body jets and this fixture on my side and the body jets, rain head and wand on my wife's side. We lose absolutely no pressure when we have both the rain head and body jets on at the same time. We have a dedicated hot water heater for our master and I would recommend the same for any one with dual heads and valves to run various fixtures in the shower. I'd also recommend using 100 gallon hot water tank or more. You never want to leave this shower.

Is there any way to hide the threads where the shower head screws into the shower arm?

What does the WE stand for? What is the difference between T17T297-SS and T17T297-SS-WE?

Hi, Kirk! Thank you for your question. 'WE' on the Delta TempAssure T17T297-SS-WE Shower Trim Kit indicates the shower head is Water-Efficient. This will offer a flow rate of 1.75 gpm @ 80 psi. TempAssure Question

Will the Tempassure feature prevent scalding should someone with a disability enter the shower and simply turn the valve to hot hot water only?

Hi Gay, Thank you for your question. TempAssure® Thermostatic valves monitor the temperature of the water and adjust the mix automatically to maintain precise temperature control and to keep the water temperature in your shower within a safe ±3.6° F (±1.7° C). This provides a more consistent temperature than pressure balanced valves can supply. TempAssure valves also feature an adjustable high-temperature limit stop that when properly set helps ensure the handle cannot be turned to a position that is too hot for comfort. And because TempAssure measures the temperature of water, the handle limit stop will not need to be adjusted for seasonal ground water temperature changes. Basically when you install the faucet you will set the max hot water temperature by adjusting the rotational limit stop to a safe/non scalding water temperature. The valve will not allow the temperature to exceed this limit. Thanks, Dave

Which parts are plastic?

I have seen several complaints in reviews about this trim kit being plastic, and the above reply to a question regarding this issue said parts of it are metallic and parts are plastic. I would like details about which parts of the exterior, on the showerhead and on the faucet control, are plastic, please.
