PRODUCT FEATURES
With separate handles for volume and temperature control, this Delta tub/shower provides a more refined showering experience. Simply set the water at your preferred temperature and turn the shower on or off with the volume control handle - without interrupting your set temperature. While other products may gather unsightly mineral build-up over time, Delta soft rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow any mineral residue to simply be wiped away for an instantly refreshed look – with no need for soaking or the aid of chemical cleaners. Delta® thermostatic valves use TempAssure® Technology to protect you and your family from sudden temperature changes. Chrome has rapidly become one of the most popular finishes across décor styles in the bath thanks to its stunning gloss and innate versatility. Paired with crisp lines and bright whites, it creates a bold, modern contrast, but it works equally well with vintage styles and traditional spaces to convey a hint of nostalgia.

I chose the chrome finish since that looked the best with the quartzite and marble I picked out for the vanity & shower. I can't wait for the renovation to be completed.

My new Cassidy 17T shower control was just installed by a plumber. I took my first shower and the temperature control doesn't allow for enough cold water to have a comfortable shower. The water is too warm even at the coldest setting.

Hi Christy47, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T17T297-SS. Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. We are happy to help! This may be caused by the cartridge being reversed or by reversed supplies. Due to the way thermostatic valves are designed, the cartridge is expecting to get hot water from a specific inlet. If the cartridge is put in upside down, it can cause no water flow, low water flow, varying temperatures, or only hot or cold water. The easiest way to troubleshoot this is to flip the cartridge if it's not working properly. Shut off water supplies. Remove handle assembly, trim sleeve, and bonnet nut. Check to make sure the “H” marking on the cartridge aligns with the hot inlet and the “C” marking on the cartridge aligns with the cold inlet to the valve body. Is brilliance stainless and or stainless the same as brushed nickel for Delta Faucets?

Hi Valued Customer, Thank you for your question regarding our Delta Faucet T17T297-SS. Brushed Nickel has a semi-glossy or matte finish, easily displays spots, is more challenging to maintain, has an inferior type of finish, and is costly. Stainless Steel has a shiny and metallic finish, is highly resistant to spots, easier to maintain, has a superior type of finish and is not costly. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. is stainless the same as brushed nickel? if not which is closest to brushed nickel?

If you are wanting this model to look close to Brushed Nickel, we recommend the T17T297-SS (Stainless Steel). Hello. What is the depth from the bottom of the shower head to the curve at the top? I see that the depth of the shower head is 4.25", but I am curious what the full depth is from bottom of shower head to the top. Thank you!

On the t17t297-rb how do I adjust the spray to come out of all of the little nozzles? Right now the water comes out of the outside ring of nozzles only.
