With separate handles for volume and temperature control, this Delta tub/shower provides a more refined showering experience. Simply set the water at your preferred temperature and turn the shower on or off with the volume control handle - without interrupting your set temperature. The controls work great allowing one or the other shower heads as well as both at once. My only slight negative was that the temperate control is very sensitive to slight adjustments.

Looking for a video to help me set temperature of water.

Hi Mike, Thanks so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company! The rotational limit stop is used to limit the amount of hot water available such that, if set properly, the user will not be scalded if the handle accidentally is rotated all the way to “hot” when a person is showering or filling a tub. The first position allows the LEAST amount of hot water to mix with the cold water in the system. In the first position, the water will be the coldest possible when the handle is turned all the way to hot. As you move the rotational limit stop counterclockwise, you progressively add more and more hot water in the mix. The last position to the left will result in the greatest amount of hot water to the mix, and the greatest risk of scald injury if someone accidentally turns the valve handle all the way to the hot side while showering or filling a tub. To adjust the temperature of the water coming out of the valve, pull the disc back to a position where it is possible to remove the rotational limit stop and readjust the teeth engagement position to the desired temperature. Clockwise will decrease the outlet temperature, counterclockwise will increase the outlet temperature. Temperature change per tooth (notch) could be 4° - 16°F based on inlet water conditions. Delta T27833-SS was installed in my new build a couple months ago and the handle that controls the on off and temp came loose after a month.  The plumber came and tightened it up and two weeks later is almost ready to fall off again.  What can we do?

How do I connect a tub spout? Can I use one of the three ports? Is there a trim kit for the tub spout?

Hi Tomm, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T27833-SS Kayra™ 2-Handle Monitor 17 Series Valve Trim With 3- Or 6- Setting Diverter In Stainless. We will be happy to assist you as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, we would not recommend connecting a tub spout to a diverter valve or an R22000 valve rough that would be used with this trim kit. The flow rate would be enough for a showerhead but it would take too long to fill a tub. If I have a shower head and a rain shower installed (in a new shower), will this unit allow me to have either the shower head OR the rain shower on OR have BOTH ON at the same time? Is the "1 shared position" mean both will be running?

why does the handle have to be turned to redd dot for cold water and blue dot for hot water?

Purchased Delta Kayra Item# T27833-SS March 2021 use beginning July 2021; with Part DR22000 for Master Bath install.. On 11/8/2024 The lever for hot and cold fell off. Can you please instruct us on what part is required and instructions for repair?

This valve was installed few days ago, my question is when you turn the big handle for water flow and it reaches it's stopping point, you can still continue to move it past the stopping point, I figured it would have a hard stop.
