Traditional 2-Handle Monitor® 17 Series Valve Trim with 3-Setting Integrated Diverter in Venetian Bronze

Thank you for your inquiry, AlexB! The Delta Delta 6-Setting Trim T27997 and the 3-Setting Integrated Diverter trim T27897 come with different diverter cartridges. The T27997 would have the RP51919 Shared 6 Function cartridge and the RP71718 Non-Shared 3 Function cartridge assembly. The T27897 would have the RP51918 Shared 3 Function cartridge and the RP71717 Non-Shared 2 Function cartridge assembly. The knob would line up with the markings on the escutcheon plate, for the proper function unit installed. The provided plug/cap should be soldered to the right outlet port for a 3-setting diverter. Hi Bullsfan, Thank you for your question. If you have 3 showering components, we would recommend using the T27997-SS trim which will include the RP51919 6-Setting Diverter Cartridge. If you have already purchased and installed the T27897-SS trim, the RP51919 cartridge can be used in place of the included RP51918, but the 3 position indicators on the plate will not line up with the handle positions. Hello Mike! Thank you for your question regarding the Delta Faucet T27987 Shower! I am happy to help. The water is always preset to a lukewarm setting on a Delta Shower. This is done to prevent scalding. You must adjust the rotational limit to set the water to your desired temperature. The temperature knob is snapped onto the Limit stop, so you would want to grab the wider side of the knob and pull it out so that it un-snaps from the limit stop. Hello TomTurbo, Thank you for your question! We apologize for the inconveniences you are experiencing and will be happy to help you. We do not recommend removing the rotational limit stop. The temperature can be adjusted by rotating the knob on the front of the volume handle. The Rotational Limit Stop can be adjusted to set the maximum temperature. To do this, remove the temperature knob cover by prying it by hand at the tip. This should pop it off of the gray knob, allowing you to remove the Phillips head screw. Pull off the knob to access the RLS and set it to the desired position. Please refer to section 4 of the Installation Instructions for more information.
