The traditional round style lends a timeless feel to your space. With three popular style choices to coordinate with any bathroom décor, it provides you the flexibility to select the type of custom shower functionality you prefer. With the MultiChoice® Universal system, you have the freedom to upgrade style and functionality later. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Product valve replaced The three point valve needed replaced and it was a new product. Once replaced, it’s working nicely. It is very attractive. I haven’t received the plumbing bill so I don’t know how much the return visit to replace the valve is going to cost me.

I didn't have any problems with this. I set the temp and then made sure I snapped it in right. Clik and its done. A great design, be patient, and do it right the first time.

Works great, has a really smooth feel as it moves. I love how it “saves” the heat level from the previous shower, since the on/off is a different lever. I used to get big temperature fluctuations when someone flushed the toilet somewhere else in the house. Not anymore! The only thing I don’t like is that it shows water spots of you don’t wipe it down when you get out of the shower.

Are the chrome handles and trim all metal, or plastic?

Can I use the R10000 with the T27897 Trim? I want to use the R100000 so I can add a tub spout w/ diverter. Thanks!

Hi, Neil! Thank you for your question. The Delta Monitor T27897 Integrated Valve and Diverter Trim Kit only works with the Delta MultiChoice Universal R22000 Integrated Valve and Diverter Rough. Here is a link to this rough valve body: https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/product/R22000 We do not recommend installing a tub spout on the R22000 Rough Valve Body as the tub spout will not have a positive shut off while a shower component is being used. Both the 6-Setting  (T27997) and the 3-Setting trim (T27897) include the 2-Setting Diverter (RP71717).  Does one trim align with the marks on the escutcheon plate better for that valve?  Is there a threaded cap part number for the port i won't need?

Thank you for your inquiry, AlexB! The Delta Delta 6-Setting Trim T27997 and the 3-Setting Integrated Diverter trim T27897 come with different diverter cartridges. The T27997 would have the RP51919 Shared 6 Function cartridge and the RP71718 Non-Shared 3 Function cartridge assembly. The T27897 would have the RP51918 Shared 3 Function cartridge and the RP71717 Non-Shared 2 Function cartridge assembly. The knob would line up with the markings on the escutcheon plate, for the proper function unit installed. The provided plug/cap should be soldered to the right outlet port for a 3-setting diverter. My bathroom is complete but the water is only luke warm out of shower. Need help

Hello Mike! Thank you for your question regarding the Delta Faucet T27987 Shower! I am happy to help. The water is always preset to a lukewarm setting on a Delta Shower. This is done to prevent scalding. You must adjust the rotational limit to set the water to your desired temperature. What do I do if I only have 2 shower components and 3 settings?

I am about to install this in a stand-alone shower. I have an overhead shower head and a set of 3 body jet sprayers. 1. can I set it up so my settings are: (a: shower only, b: body only, c: both)? 2. if not, can how do I install it such that my settings are (a: shower, b: body, c: n/a)?

Dear Doug, Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta Traditional 17 Series Trim T27897-RB come with the 3-Setting Diverter (top handle). What cartridges is included with the T27897-ss trim? I want the following shower functions: shower head only, handheld shower only, and both the shower head and handheld shower.

Hi, Nate! Thank you for your question. The T27897-SS has a Dual Function Pressure Balance Cartridge, RP46463, along with a 3 setting diverter cartridge assembly, RP51918. This will allow a shared setting for both units on at the same time and two individual settings. Best Regards, Rosanna

Does this valve adjust water pressure or just turn on and off? The specifications states "Bottom handle controls on/off and ADJUSTS VOLUME; dial controls temperature", but many of these handles are just an on / off switch, so I wanted to confirm.
