With separate handles for volume and temperature control, this Delta® tub/shower provides a more refined showering experience. Simply set the water at your preferred temperature and turn the shower on or off with the volume control handle - without interrupting your set temperature. Delta pressure-balance valves use Monitor® Technology to protect you and your family from sudden temperature changes.

  • Bottom handle controls on / off and adjusts temperature; dial controls temperature

T27856 vs. T27956 vs. ?? i am looking for the correct rough valve that will divert to the tub, a shower wand and/or an over head shower head.  if i understand correctly, that should be a 3-way diverter valve.  what valve model then do i need to get

Thank you for your question, Kimmy! Model T27856 is a three setting diverter trim which would be the best option. We do not advise connecting a tub spout to a diverter trim or valve. Instead, you will need an R10000 Universal Multichoice Rough-in valve as the mixer valve attached to a diverting tub spout. An R11000 diverter valve will be installed above this and will then divert water to either product separately or both simultaneously. Best regards, Edward
