valve question

Will the R22000 valve allow me to run three seperate zones within my shower. Can i run a rain head then switch it to run a standard wall shower head and then switch it to run a hand held shower head? I only want one zone running at a time. Thanks Scott
Asked by: scott
Hello Scott, Thank you for your questions. Delta model T27959-SS includes a 6-setting integrated diverter. This means you will be able to use three different products and divert between them. There will be 6-settings, 3 shared settings and 3 non-shared settings. Best Regards, Courtney

What is the difference between the T27959 and the T24959 trim kits? I will be running a shower head, body sprays and wand. Also ordering a R22000-WS. Sufficient?

Asked by: patrick
Thank you for your inquiry, Patrick! The Delta Contemporary T27959-SS is a 17 Series unit that controls volume and water temperature independently with two separate handles for more refined control of your shower experience. The T24959-SS is a 14 Series unit with a single handle controlling temperature only, with one constant volume.. Both trim kits are compatible with the matching Integrated Rough-In R22000 valve. What is the temperature range for the temperature control? Does it switch from all cold water (55 degrees F in my home) to all hot water (125 degrees F in my home)?

Asked by: NH_Al
Hello NH_Al, Thank you for your question. The temperature can be adjusted between approximately the same temperature as the cold supply and hot supply, plus or minus 3 degrees. Since it is pressure balancing, a slight amount of water from the opposite supply may be mixed in. You can also set the maximum temperature by adjusting the Rotational Limit Stop (see page page 6 of the Installation Instructions). https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/92345%20Rev%20E.pdf Best regards, Jon

Can this be used to control a tub spout, shower head and handheld shower?

Asked by: BizzleB
Hi BizzleB, Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta Integrated diverter rough-in valve that installs with the the Delta Contemporary 17 Series 6-Setting Integrated Diverter Trim T27959 model, is not recommended for use with a tub spout, as this is a shower-only valve. You may connect a non-diverter tub spout to one of the diverter ports as a temperature tester, however since the flow rate from the spout would be lower than a standard installation, we do not recommended to use it as a tub filler. Alternatively, you can install an R10000 and R11000 valve with corresponding trim kits. The tub spout should be connected to the bottom port of an R10000 valve to provide sufficient flow to fill a tub. https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/product/R10000-UNBX https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/product/R11000 Best regards, Tanya

Can I use this trim for wall shower and hand shower. I only have to use 2 non shared setting and one shared setting. I like the separate pressure and temperature controls on this compared to T24859

Asked by: Anne
Thank you for your question, Annamika! For two non-shared positions and one shared position you will need the Delta Contemporary 3-setting integrated trim, model T27859. https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/product/T27859 Best regards, Edward
