Hi Emer, Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. We are happy to help! The WaterSense labeled shower head included with T13420 uses at least 20% less water than the industry standard. To troubleshoot an issue with the water pressure, we recommend flushing the faucet with the shower head removed. Turn on both handles for two minutes and rinse debris from the shower head connection. If the issue remains, turn off the water supplies to flush the valve rough with the cartridge removed. Be careful as this will shoot water across the shower to flush out any debris. Changing to a shower trim with an integrated diverter would require also changing the plumbing and valve rough. Typically a diverter will reduce the flow rate but a thermostatic valve can provide more flow rate overall. This should only be a factor if using more than one shower feature at a time. The faucet's maximum flow rate will depend on the home water pressure and other plumbing factors. Please reach out for further assistance or with any additional questions! Hi MountainRemodeler, thank you for your interest in the T27T889-PR! This trim is not compatible with a tub. This trim would be used to control two shower features, like a showerhead and hand shower or a showerhead and body sprays. One setting for each and one for sharing. The 3 setting diverter would allow for two items to be used in the shower, and the 6 setting diverter would allow for 3 items to be used, combined or individually. It sounds as though the rotational limit stop may not have been adjusted the TETRA® TempAssure 17T Series Integrated Diverter Trim With 3-Setting MODEL#: T27T889-PR. The rotational limit stop is used to limit the amount of hot water available such that, if set properly, the user will not be scalded if the handle accidentally is rotated all the way to “hot” when a person is showering or filling a tub. The first position allows the LEAST amount of hot water to mix with the cold water in the system. In the first position, the water will be the coldest possible when the handle is turned all the way to hot. As you move the rotational limit stop counterclockwise, you progressively add more and more hot water in the mix. The last position to the left will result in the greatest amount of hot water to the mix, and the greatest risk of scald injury if someone accidentally turns the valve handle all the way to the hot side while showering or filling a tub. To adjust the temperature of the water coming out of the valve, pull the disc back to a position where it is possible to remove the rotational limit stop and readjust the teeth engagement position to the desired temperature. Clockwise will decrease the outlet temperature, counterclockwise will increase the outlet temperature. Temperature change per tooth (notch) could be 4° - 16°F based on inlet water conditions.
