The Delta® MultiChoice® Integrated Shower Diverter consolidates custom shower design with its consumer-preferred streamlined style eliminating the need for an additional diverter valve. The contemporary round style is a smooth take on modern geometrics, offering a fresh look which can complement a wide range of decor. With three popular style choices to coordinate with any bathroom décor, it provides you the flexibility to select the type of custom shower functionality you prefer. With the MultiChoice® Universal system, you have the freedom to upgrade style and functionality later. And, because there’s no need to alter plumbing behind the wall, you save time, effort and money on future renovation updates. Delta's dual-function thermostatic valve cartridge keeps water temperature consistent (within 3.6°) by actually measuring and monitoring the temperature of the water. Temperature can be set in order to remain consistent shower after shower.

Based on your response to Tweetie831 concerning using this valve for a tub spout application, how would I go about designing a system that would allow for full flow to all (possibly 3) outlets including a tub spout?

Hi Jkl2455, Thank you for your inquiry! The integrated valve that is used with the Delta Contemporary TempAssure 6-Setting trim T27T959-SS faucet does not have a bottom port for a tub spout connection. You may connect a non-diverter tub spout to the 6-setting diverter as a temperature tester, but the flow rate will be reduced, so it is not recommended to be used for a tub filler spout. You would need to also install a separate MultiChoice Universal Valve R10000-UNBX and Tub Trim kit of your choice. https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/product/R10000-UNBX Best regards, Tanya

What is the difference between the T27959-SS and T27T959-SS? What added function does the T27T959-SS. It looks like there is a thermostatic element to this one that i'm not sure what that means.

These trims are essentially identical however the TempAssure Thermostatic valve cartridge is capable of keeping the water temperature consistent (within 3.6°) by actually measuring and monitoring the temperature of the water. Will these cut on the water control the temperature and control 2 50102-RB body sprays as well as 58580-RB-PK dual shower head?

Thank you for your question, Haney. This will divert water between these components. Please note that the 6-Setting trim is designed to divert between all 3 outlet ports of the valve. If the body sprays are grouped to one outlet of the diverter, you can use the T17T859-RB 3-Setting trim instead, or connect another component to the 3rd port. Best regards, Jon

Can this diverter be used to divert to the tub filler and the shower?

I apologize for any difficulty finding this information. I know that can be frustrating. We are happy to help! While it is possible to connect a tub spout to the diverter, it is not recommended. The water flow will be reduced as the diverter was designed to supply water to showerheads, body sprays, and hand showers. The tub will take longer than expected to fill. We recommend installing the tub spout to the tub outlet of a tub and shower R10000 mixing valve. Please reach out if you have any questions or need additional assistance. The temperature dial is loose on my 2 handle shower  valve.  How can I fix?

Can I run three showerheads at the same time with this multifunction?  How about four shower jets all on at same time, on separate valve by itself.

We will be happy to assist you as quickly as possible. The diverter has settings for three individual shower features and three settings that share two features at once. There may not be sufficient water flow for three showerheads, depending on the valve rough, water pressure, and other plumbing factors. Our HydraChoice body spray trims have a 1.0 GPM flow rate. Can you please clarify if the 6-Setting shower diverter rotates 360 degrees or is there a hard stop between positions 1 and 6?
