Sophisticated, Sexy and Modern Matte Black faucet
I can only speak right now on the design and how sleek, sophisticated, sexy and modern this Matte Black faucet is because I am in the throes of a remodel and don't have this faucet installed yet. I can speak to my past experience with Delta products, being they are my go-to. They are top-notch in every aspect. I am sure once this is ready to be installed, it will be an easy installation based on past experience. I will update my review once installed and used.
*I tried to add a photo of this Matte Black faucet but I could not upload it no matter if I tried from home or work I kept getting "Oops Network Error". I will try to upload photos again later when I update my review.

Pretty, but Complicated
I wasn’t able to put this on my current setup. My plumber brother in law didn’t even want to mess with it. The materials seem well made, but just wasn’t able to install it to even try it. Also made a ticket with Influenster, but never heard anything.

Beautiful and modern design in a sleek matte black finish. Delta produces quality hardware and this bathtub faucet is no exception. Solidly constructed and the black will not only look great in my remodel but will also be easier to keep looking clean.

Faucet Upgrade
The Delta Trinsic Wall-Mount
Faucet looks sleek and high-end, and I think it’s worth the extra effort to install. Since it's wall-mounted, it takes a bit more planning, but once it's in, it feels modern and stylish.
The design is clean, and the quality feels solid, will report back after we’ve used it for a while.

Looks great!
My bathroom is too dirty to show you a picture but this set of handle and faucet are gorgeous. The matte black really offsets the white of the tub and they are smooth to use. It was super easy to install as well

Is there an extender for the valve stem? Our vanity backsplash is 1" quartz, and when we try to install the handle, the valve stem is too short.

Thank you for your question. We recommend to use either the Delta 72172-CZ or 72173-CZ Pop Up Drain Assemblies. The Delta 72172-CZ drain has no overflow holes. The Delta 72173-CZ drain has overflow holes.

Must this faucet be mounted on a backsplash? Or can it be mounted directly to sheetrock or backer board?
Thank you for your question, Lizz! We recommend installing this model on a study, non-porous and water-proof surface only. The R3510-WL valve must be installed on a suitable stud brace for security and you will need to take into account the front of the stringer must be 2 3/4" ± 1/2" from finished wall. Please refer to the Maintenance and Installation manual carefully for both items.
