Always a fan of Delta products and the universal valves Delta uses . The Champagne Bronze finish is a very pleasant gold tone , easy to blend with hardware options . Thanks to Taylor for his help !

Hand Shower cost a it a Star
Purchased nearly 1 year ago thru my designer, finally installed 2 weeks ago after 5 month master bath remodel. My first bath in my new tub yesterday ended with a VERY DISAPPOINTING rinse off with handheld shower. The stream is so weak it is like a strong a dribble! If I could figure out how to remove the flow restricter I would! It is the only disappointment from entire Cassidy array my designer purchased: shower stall system, sink fixtures and deck mounted tub fixtures.

Faucet takes up half the tub
The faucet sticks way too far out and I keep hitting it. It’s sitting nearly half way into the tub which really isn’t ideal. It also makes it super hard to get out. I have a 67” freestanding tub so it’s pretty large too. Bummer.

Sprayer is too heavy and won’t stay in place
We had the Cassidy faucet and sprayer set installed in our new master bath 3 years ago. Sadly, the sprayer is top heavy, keeps coming uncaulked, and falls over, leaving a big hole through which water can leak. It is a poor design, with no anchor beneath the hole in the tile, and we are disappointed in this piece.

Q&A
I was looking at the H697 handle assembly and wanted to know how much the handles move from closed to full open. Do they rotate 90 degrees or do they rotate 180 degrees? I am attempting to install them in a tight space i want to install as close as i can.

Thank you for your question. The H697 handles turn 180 degrees. If needed, RP26097 1/4" turn stop can be added onto the stem unit assembly to stop at 90 degrees. The faucet will turn on at full force at 90 degrees.

I notice that some of the handhelds of these tub fillers seem to be angled while others seem to be more like 90 degrees. I have the R4707 and the handheld receptor appears to be angled. All seem to use same rough-in valve though.

Flow rate
I understand that the flow rate on the handshower is 2 GPMS, but what is the flow rate on the actual tub filler spout?
Thank you for your question, Gin! The spout assembly of the Delta Cassidy Roman Tub T4797-PNLHP--H698PN--R4707 faucet does not have flow restrictor device, so the flow rate will be determined by the pressure in your home. However, you should get between 15 - 20 gallons per minute at 40 - 80 PSI.

Can you please tell me the finish on the hose portion of the rough valve set?

Thank you for your question! The hose assembly RP40664 of the Delta Cassidy Roman Tub Trim T4797-PNLHP, is a chrome finish and the Conical Nut RP40663PN that attaches it to the handheld shower is the Polished Nickel finish.

How do you switch from faucet to hand shower? Do you pull up or back?

Does the Delta T4797-RBLHP have a scald control? I have one on my tub and the water does not seem to be nearly as hot as the water that comes out of the sink. I'm wondering if there is an adjustment in the faucet - the pipe to the facet is insulated

The hot and cold valves are separate. With only the hot valve on, the water would be straight from the hot water supply without any cold water mixed in.

I have the T4797-SSLHP. When the faucet is set according to the placement of the set screw, the faucet is going away from the tub itself. Was this installed improperly? or can it adjusted? If so, how so? This hasn't been tiled yet.
Does the handshower have different spray settings? If so, how many?
