Durability vs. Looks
While the product looks great, the durability is not great....parts do not work property - such as pull lever between wand and faucet won't function and when the want is in off, water still comes out, and now the hose for the sprayer has a hole, but no part available to replace it.

Like the design and the finish isn’t bad but for the price, was expecting a higher quality. The floor mounting is small, resulting in a wobbly feel. The fit of things could be tighter. The holder for the wand needs to secure it better, allowing for more control.

Great tub filler that needs a handle
This is a beautiful tub filler, and we are very pleased with it. However these arrive without a handle. There are two options for handles, and every package should be sent with one or the other handle style. I thought we'd purchased the whole thing (at that price!) and we still needed to get a faucet handle for it.

Are both the hand shower and the tub filling spout limited to 2.0 gallons per minute? Most tub fillers are 6gpm or above. 2gpm -long time to fill

Thank you for your question. The Delta Traditional Floor-Mount Roman Tub T4797-FL-LHP faucet comes with a 2.0 gpm three setting H2Okinetic® handshower with dual check valves. The floor mount tub filler flows at a rate of 6-9 gallons per minute with the pressure balanced cartridge and 10-12 GPM using the high flow cartridge depending on your household water pressure.

Can I change the spout to a waterfall type?
I like the cassidy style of open or waterfall lav faucets and would like to match that style with a tub filler.

Thank you for your question. The Delta Cassidy Floor Mount Roman Tub T4797-FL-LHP faucet collection is not designed with an open channel spout. The open channel spout model we make is the Delta Ara T4768-FL, the spout are not interchangeable with these faucets.

As I turn the tub filler on, the water comes on hot, and the more I turn, gets cooler. This is opposite all my other tubs. DOes this need correcting?
Were the water lines reversed and do they need to be corrected? Is this easy to do? ALso, after use, the tub filler spurts water out, in the off position. Why does this happen? I was in the tub, relaxing, and then water suddenly spurt from the faucet even though it was not on.

Thank you for your question! Based on your description, this can be resolved by removing the cartridge and flipping it around. A small amount of water may drain out of the spout as pressure is relieved from the hose after the sprayer is used.

Delta T4797-SSFL-LHP faucet does not get as hot as the lavatory faucet? They vary by more than 30 degrees?
Both faucets are connect to the same instant water heater line. The tub has personnel hand shower and the temperature is also lower than the lavatory faucet. The water temperature at the lavatory is approximately 125 where the tub faucet and handheld shower is only 95. My instant water heater is set at 130. My plumber has stated there is a mixing valve which limits temperature on the tub faucet? I was then told to turn the instant water heater down to 125? There is a shower and a second lavatory in the same bathroom which both of these faucets temperature is 125 degree. All faucets are delta.

To get hotter water from your Delta Traditional Floor Mount Tub Filler T4797-RBFL-LHP, you would need to adjust the rotational limit stop on the top of the cartridge assembly, under the handle. Please see pages 7 and 8 module 3 of the below Maintenance/Installation document link. Your hotter water heater should also be no higher than 120 degrees.

What is the difference between the two floor mounts? R4700-FL & R4700-FLWS. Thank you

Thank you for your question. The R4700-FLWS has supply stops that allow you to shut off the water at the valve during installation. It also will accepts threaded supply connections. The R4700-FL does not have stops and requires soldering. These are the only rough-in valves for our freestanding tub fillers.

Is there an extender available so that the hand spout could hover over the tub? With the hard pressure coming from the tub filler I would like to have the hand spout rest over the tub but right now it is too short so you have to take it off the mount
Thank you for your question, Kimberly! Unfortunately we do not currently offer an extender for our Floor Mount Tub Fillers. They can however hold any Delta hand shower wand. This model includes a 9 5/16” (237 mm) long wand, but a model such as 59421-PK is 11 7/16” (290 mm) and may reach.

Recently installed a delta Cassidy free standing tub filler during our mbr remodel. Surprised to learn that there is no way to lock the swivel in place to prevent accidental water on the floor instead of in the tub. Anyone with a remedy?

The handle leaks when the main faucet is on. Can you please provide instructions to fix or a part number along with a link to have a warranty claim?
After filling the tub & turning off the water, it often continues to drip. the only way to stop it is to rapidly turn the valve full on then close it hard and rapidly. Is there something that can be adjusted to help this situation. just 3 months old.

I have the Cassidy tub filler, and the hand shower drips whenever the water is running. It continues to drip as long as the water is on, and drips faster as I turn up the water pressure. Is there a fix for this?

My tub faucet is dripping? When the water is off, it will drip from the main spout. If I hold the diverter, it will drip from the handheld so it must be where the main mechanism is. Is there a way to fix this?

We recommend replacing the RP4993 seats and springs in the legs of the cartridge. A drip is typically caused by damage or wear to the rubber seats. Also check the condition of the RP14414 o-rings on the legs of the cartridge. If the issue remains, the RP73598 cartridge may need to be replaced.

I have a Cassidy Tub Filler and the spray wand drips while the tub is filling through the spout even if the sprayer in the off position. What part needs to be replaced to fix this issue. Nothing leaks whle water is completely off, only when filling.
