Looks good but BEWARE of the 360 swivel.
This tub filler was expensive but decided to spend the money with new bathroom remodel only to find out that the spout has a 360 degree swivel. For the life of me can't understand why it would be made this way when so many others may swivel but have a set screw that can keep it from swiveling if you don't want it to do so. With something this expensive, that should be an option. Would have NEVER purchased this if we would have known there wasn't a set screw option.

Spout swivels 360 degrees. Safety issue.
The tub filler is heavy and good-looking. But I have an issue with the ability of the spout to swivel 360 degrees. I consider it a safety hazard should it be accidentally turned to a position other than over the tub. I confirmed with Delta that is designed that way. I'm not certain what need is being addressed to allow the spout to rotate.

I hate this thing!
Most expensive faucet I've ever heard of, but I wanted a good one. I've had it a year, and it's done. My shyster contractor threw away all paperwork and boxes so I have no recourse for the handle that is now spinning and not controlling the water flow at all. I never liked it. It is all full-force ON or OFF, no moving parts can be fixed in place so that you don't risk having water go outside the tub, which happens if you happen to move the shower handle or spout, which SHOULD be fixed in place instead of free- moving. Now now the handle is broken, spinning around and around, after only a year, and Delta has NO replacement parts for it?? "Buy a Delta" they said.. The Million $$ faucet is bulky, super temperamental, and broke in just a year.

This tub filler looked perfect out of the box but when the plumber installed it, it was crooked. The valve was perfectly installed. He tried to fix it but to no avail. Now I have to buy another and he will charge me to replace it. I'm not happy.

Delta Floor Standing Tub Filler
It’s a very well made heavy item! The only issue is that it’s NOT fingerprint resistance. All of the Delta Champagne Brass items are NOT smudge proof, and probably none of the manufactures make such products for the bathroom.

Leaks for days
This faucet has leaked since day 1. Eventually it got so bad that the handle just kept spinning and wouldn’t shut off the water at all. We had to shut the water off to that bathroom. The plumber removed the handle and there were metal shavings falling out of it. Right now we can’t use it a all.

This faucet is awful. Drips for days. Finally we had to shut off water to the second floor cuz the handle kept spinning and wouldn’t shut the water off at all.
We are fuming mad. It has only been in use for two years. In a beach house that’s only used May thru October. Our other delta faucets in the master bath shower always drips for hours. It’s from the Linden collection. It causes mild to develop in the shower cuz it never dries out. Delta is total garbage.

We have had this faucet for several years. Have already had to replace it once because it drips constantly. Delta is aware of this problem because they sent us out a new one immediately. The second one drips too. It's a beautiful faucet, unfortunately not happy with this problem.

Beautiful classic tub filler
I have completed a remodel on a home and sung the Delta Cassidy fixtures and then we relocated so now we are completing a new house build and I am using the same fixtures. My plumbers love the Delta fixtures; the ease of connections and quality of the fixtures. I have received numerous compliments on the Cassidy fixtures in the polished nickel. Just be careful on cleaning products as the finish can damaged with harsh chemicals

Exactly what we wanted!
We looked at a lot of different tub fillers and this one had every feature we wanted. The fit and finish is great and it's very sturdy. We are so glad we went with this one. Delta products are hard to beat. Make sure you install it with a Delta floor mount tub filler rough-in valve. The filler/valve made the installation easy and free of leaks.

Is there a brace to make it more stable that would tie it to the wall. It is a little wobbley.

Thank you for your question and I am sorry to hear that your tub filler is wobbly. We do not have a brace that will keep the unit from wobbling. The tub filler should not wobble. You may need to tighten the bottom base tighter into the rough valve in the floor.

Pressure out of spout and hand shower is too strong. I am wondering if there is any way to adjust the water pressure. It seems that the lower pressure is only available on cold setting. Pressure increases as I increase the temperature.
Hello, Jo Anne! Thank you for your question. The flow rate coming from the spout cannot be adjusted except on the cold side. The volume is determined by the water pressure in your home, and you can find a flow rate chart in the Technical Specifications linked below.

The hand shower is currently designed to run at 1.75 GPM at 80 PSI. You can lower the flow rate to 1.5 GPM by purchasing and installing the RP62734 Flow Regulator Washer, or you could use a Volume Control such as the model U4760-PK, which will allow you to manually adjust the flow rate from the hand shower.

When I turn on the water. The hot water comes on first. When I turn the water all the way. It is cold. It should get hotter. How can I do so the water is cold then hot?

how to ajust the mixing valv cant get hot water

Thank you for your question. The valve cartridge assembly within the Delta T4797-RBFL-LHP--H798RB--R4700-FL Floor Mount Tub Filler does have a rotational limit stop that can be adjusted so that your water can become hotter. You will want to remove the set screw from the handle with a 1/8" allen wrench. Once the handle is removed you will be able to see the rotational limit stop on the front of the cartridge. To adjust the rotational limit stop:
1. Pull out the inner, off-white circle. It maybe quite stiff.
2. When pulled out far enough, the circle will turn. Left (counterclockwise=hotter, right (clockwise)=colder.
3.Release the circle once it's at the desired temperature.
4. Test the temperature, adjust the rotational limit stop as needed.

Is the traditional floor mount tub filler available in brushed nickel to match your brushed nickel faucets?

Are there other base plates for the Cassidy Tub filler Polished nickle version. Searching for a cover plate that fits around the post and lays on the floor which is oval or rectangualr shape to cover a larger gap space on floor.
