Rated 1 out of 5 by from It leaks See below two others with the same problem. The faucet drips constantly and the hot /cold mix at max comes out luke warm. Delta to send a replacement cartridge , not in stock , 3 weeks on rush order. So after spending 1,400 dollar on this item , we cannot use it.

Delta is supposed to send a replacement part so that I can repair it. This item is much too expensive to have this problem.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Constantly drips We bought this bath faucet when we remodeled our bathroom a year ago. Also bought the sink faucets to match. All are beautiful and the sink faucets work well. However, we have ALWAYS had a problem with the bath faucet dripping after we use it. I should have sent it back immediately but after going through our remodel did not want to deal with it then. Just took a bath yesterday and the the dripping has turned into a constant stream of water. We cranked the handle so hard to stop it and i think we stripped the handle. I will be calling Delta on Monday in hopes that they will allow us to return it. One thing to note: We are not fans of the one handle knob as it makes it hard to figure out the hold/cold balance. Since that is the ONLY handle and it is now stripped we cannot turn it on at all.

Pressure out of spout and hand shower is too strong. I am wondering if there is any way to adjust the water pressure. It seems that the lower pressure is only available on cold setting. Pressure increases as I increase the temperature.

Hello, Jo Anne! Thank you for your question. The flow rate coming from the spout cannot be adjusted except on the cold side. The volume is determined by the water pressure in your home, and you can find a flow rate chart in the Technical Specifications linked below. https://media.deltafaucet.com/SpecSheet/DSP-B-T4797-FL-LHP_D.pdf The hand shower is currently designed to run at 1.75 GPM at 80 PSI. When I turn on the water. The hot water comes on first. When I turn the water all the way. It is cold. It should get hotter. How can I do so the water is cold then hot?

how to ajust the mixing valv cant get hot water

Hi, Joe12! Thank you for your question. The valve cartridge assembly within the Delta T4797-RBFL-LHP--H798RB--R4700-FL Floor Mount Tub Filler does have a rotational limit stop that can be adjusted so that your water can become hotter. You will want to remove the set screw from the handle with a 1/8" allen wrench. Once the handle is removed you will be able to see the rotational limit stop on the front of the cartridge. To adjust the rotational limit stop: 1. Pull out the inner, off-white circle. It maybe quite stiff. 2. When pulled out far enough, the circle will turn. Left (counterclockwise=hotter, right (clockwise)=colder. 3.Release the circle once it's at the desired temperature. 4. Test the temperature, adjust the rotational limit stop as needed. Is the traditional floor mount tub filler available in brushed nickel to match your brushed nickel faucets?

Are there other base plates for the Cassidy Tub filler Polished nickle version. Searching for a cover plate that fits around the post and lays on the floor which is oval or rectangualr shape to cover a larger gap space on floor.

Is there a brace to make it more stable that would tie it to the wall. It is a little wobbley.
