Delta® Difference Makers Return With Never Before Seen Spaces for KBIS 2020

Interior Design Trio Reunites to Unveil Unique Booth Experience

Inspired by Delta’s newest kitchen and bath collections, the Delta Difference Makers designed four unique spaces that will come to life at the 2020 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show, January 21-23 in Las Vegas. This one-of-a-kind booth experience will allow designers and industry professionals a unique opportunity to see, touch and interact with the kitchens, bathrooms and products firsthand, all while mingling with the Difference Makers.

“The continuation of the Delta Difference Maker collaboration reflects our ongoing commitment to human-inspired design,” said Missi Tate, Delta director of brand management. “We’re inspired by the creative ways the Difference Makers have applied their personal aesthetics to create unique spaces that reflect how Delta products complete stylish, livable environments.”

The Delta Difference Makers are:

  • Leyla Jaworski, owner and creative director of Design Shop Interiors in Sacramento, California. Leyla’s design philosophy is built around livable sophistication and turning connections with her clients into personally meaningful spaces. Influenced by the juxtaposition of modern and traditional elements, Leyla enjoys organic vibes, as reflected in her spaces at KBIS 2020, which feature moody colors, natural materials and a conspicuous absence of white.
  • Eche Martinez, founder of the eponymous interior design firm, ECHE, in San Francisco, California. Eche has a strong background in architecture and branding. Never limited by any particular style or trend, Eche creates environments that feel both timeless and current. In his bath space at this year’s show, Eche mixes scales and patterns in bringing bold uses of geometry to the fore.
  • Avissa Mojtahedi, owner of boutique Toronto design firm, Avissa Design and an art director for select episodes for HGTV’s “The Property Brothers.” Avissa is always looking to capture personal style in ways that are unique and practical. Her award-winning design style is elegant and sophisticated, with an appreciation for rich colors and textures. Her KBIS kitchen was created to house not one, but several unexpected statement pieces to intentionally showcase the possibilities of design.

The designers were asked to create spaces featuring Delta brand’s newest collections: Coranto™ Kitchen, Trillian™ Bath, Kayra™ Bath and Emmeline™ Kitchen. After submitting mood boards, the team was invited to Delta headquarters for a full day of sharing influences, discussing inspiration and swapping the stories behind each of their designs.

“The one trend that I keep seeing over and over is that people are shying away from the white box,” said Martinez, who designed a bathroom around the Trillian™ bath collection. “And that means, people really want to make sure that the spaces they are designing or building really have a narrative that speaks to who they are.”
