Not perfect, but great anyway
This faucet is described this way: "simply place your hand near the faucet, tap the faucet surface, or use standard handle activation." The part about placing your hand near the faucet is not reliable, but the tap feature is great and overall we like this faucet a lot.

Handle Falls Off and the Faucet Drips
I had this faucet installed about Feb 2021. However, about 6 months ago, the handle started to keep falling off because the set screw won't stay secure. Also, the faucet drips about 2 cups of water every day. I live in a drought state, so this is very serious. I researched this and find that you must take the handle assembly apart and replace a cartridge inside of it instead of simply replacing a washer! It's past the warranty period, of course, so I'm stuck with it. I'm not going buy the cartridge and then have to pay a plumber to install a new cartridge every 5 years. This is unacceptable. So I'm just living with this situation and collecting the water it drips each day and pouring it in my garden. But I'm not happy with this situation.

Great kitchen faucet
I now have 3 of these units in our main kitchen, (sink and island sink), and in-law suite kitchen. They are reliable, easy to install and look great. I am very happy with this product, which has replaced other, more expensive brands.

Attractive faucet but with some concerns
Bought this faucet to go with our new Blanco Diamond White sink. Attractive faucet with excellent spout reach. Functionally it works very well but I am surprised the water volume is not a bit more robust. Also, I am surprised that to make the hose connection between the supply and faucet requires an extra (supplied) retainer clip rather than having secure connections at the onset. I've never seen this before and in reviews I have read elsewhere, say the retainer clip can pop off on its own which is very concerning. I hope that does not happen. Finally, the installation instructions (and I have seen many in my lifetime) could have been way better.

I love My Delta 9113-DST Pull Down Kitchen Faucet. It is modern, stylish and heavy duty. I love the height of the faucet and the simplicity of use. I love the range for the the pull handle. I can fill a pot or pitcher without placing them in the sink. It cleans very well. I am pleased with my purchase.

Thank you for your question. The Delta 9113-DST Faucet has a flow rate of 1.80 gpm @ 60 psi. The unit is WaterSense® Labeled. WaterSense® labeled faucets use at least 20% less water than the industry standard—saving you money without compromising performance. At this time, we do not have a different sprayer that increases the flow rate for the faucet. If you feel that you are getting less than 1.80 gpm, we would be more than happy to help you with this. Thank you for your question. The Delta 9113-DST faucet sprayer assembly was designed with a non-removable aerator. We recommend to remove the whole sprayer, RP80524AR, to clean or replace the aerator.

How do I change the screen for clogs

Thank you for your question. The aerator assembly for the Delta 9113-DST is non-removable. To clean, we do recommend to remove the sprayer assembly from the hose assembly. Soak the sprayer in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water mix for an hour or even overnight to clean the debris.

Tanya, I meant a 2” diameter hole. This faucet requires a hole size of 1.25 to 1.5 inches, but the hole in my granite countertop is 2 inches.

Thank you for your question, Samuel! Model 9113-DST does not have a removable or replaceable aerator option. The flow rate can be reduced; however, by simply turning down the shut-off supplies slightly below the counter.

Thank you for your question. We recommend installing this faucet with the handle on the right. You may install it with the handle on the front or left side, but the temperature adjustment will be opposite of the standard operation for single handle faucets. You could compensate for this by swapping the hot and cold supply lines under the sink. However, the red/blue button on the handle will no longer indicate the correct temperature.

Can this faucet be mounted on a stainless steel sink or must it be deck mounted?

Thank you for your question. The Delta Essa Kitchen 9113-DST faucet can be installed on any standard sink or countertop material with a maximum deck thickness of 2 1/2". However, we do recommend to use the RP37490 Stabilization Plate if installing on a thin gauge metal sink, to help prevent it from flexing. This plate goes under the sink and can be installed as is or cut to fit.

Installing Delta faucet 9113-DST. There's a round plastic part in box (gasket?) that instructions/parts list doesn't mention. What is this? Also, does it matter which direction I orient the mounting plate or can it go either way?

Thank you for your question. The round plastic part is a gasket that Delta 9113-DST Faucet. This gasket goes inside of the base of your faucet. The round hole should go around the mounting shank, and the hoses should go through the other hole.
The mounting hardware should only be able to be oriented one direction.

I think my Essa faucet has the hot and cold reversed. If the faucet is pulled all the way forward - toward the blue, but with the red showing - should that be hot or cold? If pushed all the way back, to red, but with blue showing, should that be cold?

Thank you for your question. The Delta 9113-DST Faucet handle does rotate out, and away from the faucet body, for on and cold water. Rotate the handle forwards, towards the user, for hot water. If the supply lines are reversed, this will be opposite.

If you're needing to clean the sprayer head, you can remove the sprayer head entirely from the hose and soak the whole sprayer head in a solution of 50 percent white vinegar and 50 percent water mix.
