Will the rough in valve of a Tempassure from 20 years ago work with the new finish trim kits?

Hi Pat, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, the T17T497-SS would not work with a valve from 20 years ago. However if you have a 1500 series tub/shower, as long as the screw holes on the plate are at 1 and 7 o'clock, you could install a Monitor T17 series trim, such as the T17497-SS, using an RP32104 cartridge. http://www.deltafaucet.com/bath/details/t17497-ss.html http://www.deltafaucet.com/repairparts/details/rp32104.html Thanks, Jon

What is the diameter of this shower head

is the shower head adjustable, does it tilt

We are considering this and the 15 series. We saw the 15 series in the store and it was able to tilt. Can't tell if this does the same.

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T17T497-SS does have an adjustable showerhead. It will rotate up and down about 19 degrees.

Is the shower handle available? I do not need the faucet or shower head.  Also, which of the finishes best matches brushed nickel?

tilting shower head

I was unable to see this shower head in the showroom. Previous poster asked a question about the shower head tilting. The answer was that it does tilt up and down about 19 degrees. Will it tilt to the side? For example, if in the shower and you do not want a direct spray of water, is that possible?

Thank you for your question. The showerhead should tilt in all directions the same amount. If you want to move it sideways, it should not be a problem.

Can the handle be swapped for a cross handle, similar to the Cassidy sink faucets?
