Rated 4 out of 5 by from thumping noise I like the faucet but I get a thumping noise when the faucet is turned on, after not having not been used for a while (minutes). I have had the unit since Nov of 2011 and I have been living with that noise since then. I did have to replace the spray mount flange once as the plastic one broke.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great faucet...easy install This is probably the third similar faucet I have purchased from Delta. Installation is very easy and straightforward. The reason for four stars and not five is the base to the sprayer does not seem to allow the sprayer to set down in it all the time. I think earlier designs had sort of a bevel where the sprayer set back down and went back perfectly each time. This may seem odd but I can tell when my wife has used the sprayer because it is quite often not completely seated in the base holder.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to install and works great I installed this faucet as a replacement for an existing Delta. It is the lowest cost option that exactly matches the original. After a month the faucet works flawlessly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks nice but is not efficient. The faucet looks really nice but it cuts back the water pressure too much , therefore the sprayer isn't of much use. Also makes a clunking sound when it is being used.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product was very easy to install My wife and I choose this product because of it's looks and features. It was very easy for me to install and when finished with the installation there were no leaks anywhere the first time the water was turned back on. I really like the quality and design of the faucet. We have had very nice compliments from our guest when they see it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Value Faucet Had to replace a cheaper Price-Pfister of a similar design - the Pfister literally split apart along the length of the spout and sprayed water everywhere! The Delta feels solid, the metal parts certainly feel superior to what was replaced, plus with a lifetime warranty? This is a good value overall. Very easy to install, works just as it should. This is a stainless steel unit, thought the color is darker than what you might find in a stainless steel sink, it still looks well-finished and feels pretty solid within the price point.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice kitchen faucet This replaced a two year old faucet of another brand. I like the design and the copper tubing for the hot/cold lines, particularly that there were located in the center of the three hole sink design. Installation was relatively easy. For a good, basic kitchen faucet with sprayer, this one is hard to beat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best way to go ! Don't waste money on higher products. I have used Delta products for some time & they are the highest quality, best priced fixtures available. They are designed for ease of installation and durable for long life. My latest purchase operates more smoothly than other name brands from big box stores costing three times as much. Not only was it not necessary to call a plumber but took less than an hour start to finish for do-it-yourself replacement of old faucet. Delta is always my first consideration.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for the discounted price we paid This looks and works pretty well, especially for the very discounted price we paid for it. My 2 complaints: 1. there seems to be no middle ground for water temp; it's either too hot or too cold, no matter how I adjust the lever 2. the little blue/red circle that indicates temperature had fallen off before we even got the faucet installed, leaving a small hole; we did end up gluing it back on ourselves.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Attractive and easy installation, but... My faucet is 4 years old, now, and so far mostly no problems. Yes, it does make the "thumping" some complain about, but nearly every one I ever owned with a separate sprayer does. That's the diverter valve knocking when water is initially turned on, as the sprayer hose pressurizes. It doesn't always do it, and normally only once during a session of use. The entire faucet is still clean and shiny, as it has received good care. Unfortunately, however, the chrome finish on the arm is poorly plated, and is beginning to pit badly in one area. It has never been exposed to any caustic that I'm aware of, but I fear I'll probably have to replace an otherwise good faucet rather soon, as these pits will likely erode into a leak at the end of the arm above the aerator. There doesn't seem to be any replacement part available

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product, surprised it didn't cost more Needed a new faucet so I went with this one bc we didn't need anything fancy. When we had it installed it looked so much better then what I thought it was going to look for the price. We are loving our new faucet

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality faucet! I purchased this faucet as a replace for the same style. The last one held up for about 10 years. I expect this one to last just a long. Good quality and design.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poorly made If we could get our money back for both the faucet and the man who installed it we would. It drips, very slowly, like 1 drip every 10 to 15 minutes and water seeps from around the handle when it is in the on position.
Date published: 2017-01-07
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Need option of a longer hose for spray nozel. One o ring for the spray hose was broken and laying in box will halt to replace. Good product , spray hose a little hard to connect under cabinet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works good until it thumps and leaks This faucet worked great for about a year. Then all of a sudden it began to "thump" and leak from the sprayer which seems to be the case with most others that have reviewed this product. The sprayer now has to lay in the sink so water does not leak down into under the sink.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to Install and Looks Great The faucet I purchased was easy to install and works perfectly. I was able to install it in 20 minutes with no problems at all. It looks great as well.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Thumps and leaks I have always purchased Delta faucets for quality I could trust. Hopefully you have either fixed the problems with this model, or discontinued it all together. Like every other reviewer, I had the thumping problem early on. When the thumping occurred, the sprayer would leak, too. The thumping was mostly alleviated when I removed a "restricter plate" from the aerator assembly, but now the sprayer is leaking again. This product does not live up to Delta standards.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It looks very nice. I like my new faucet. The only thing I don't like about it is it doesn't let as much water flow as my old one. We took the screen off so more water flowed out.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks nice. Worked fine for a while, now constant annoying "thud" and leaking sprayer Same as many other reviews/complaints here. Bought faucet because it looked nice, had a decent price and was easy to install. Once installed, "thud" only happened when quickly switching between hot and cold or when using sprayer. About 3 weeks ago, "thud" started while using either hot, cold or mixed with handle fully open. Now "thud" occurs more frequently, maybe every 3-4 seconds regardless of handle setting. While checking shut off valves to faucet to make sure they were fully open and not contributing to "thud", noticed water leaking from sprayer hose underneath sink. Pulled sprayer out and found that it was leaking where hose goes into sprayer body. Sprayer leaks every time "thud" occurs, but does not "thud" or leak while sprayer being used. Also, "thud" cannot be heard with aerator removed from spout, but you can see pressure change. My guess is that "thud" is created by whatever is causing sprayer to leak and back pressure created by water saving restrictor in aerator.

I don't need the entire handle assembly, just the set screw.

Delta 1090x Faucet -- How do I remove the Seats and Springs?  I'm trying to install Repair Kit 44124.  I've removed the Handle, Adjusting Ring, and Ball Assembly, but the Seats and Springs are stuck (or perhaps are not removable?)  Any ideas?

Asked by: Mark
Hi, Mark! Thank you for your question. The seats and springs for the Delta 10901LF faucet can be removed by scooping them out with the end of a small Allen wrench. Place the end of the Allen wrench into the middle of the seats and springs and 'scoop' them out of the valve body. Best Regards, Rosanna

How to replace diverter?

Asked by: John
Thank you for your inquiry, John! To replace the diverter assembly in the Delta Foundations Kitchen 10901LF faucet, please follow directions below. First SHUT OFF THE WATER supply to the faucet. 1. Remove the handle. On the lever handle, you should find a small hex screw that can be loosened with a 1/8" Allen wrench. The handle will lift off when this screw is loose enough. 2. Once the handle has been removed, unscrew the dome-shaped cap counter clockwise. 3. Once the cap has been removed, grasp the round metal stem (which is part of the ball assembly) to which the handle was attached and pull it out. The ball will come out, along with the cam and packing. You will need to reinstall these parts later, so be sure to note how they are positioned in the valve. 4. Grab the spout, wiggle it as you pull up on it and take it off the valve. 5. The diverter is the white and brass "button" in the center of the valve. Gently grip it and pull it straight out. You can also pry the diverter out of the valve body by inserting a small screwdriver into the hole directly above the diverter and pushing it out. Be sure to remove any debris that may be in the hole that the diverter fits into. 6. Press the new diverter into place and reinstall the other components in the reverse order. Please feel free to call, email, or message us on social if there is anything else you need. Delta 1090x Faucet -- How do I remove the Spout?  I am trying to install the Repair Kit RP4412.  I have removed the Handle, Adjusting Ring, and Ball Assembly, but NOT the Seats and Springs.  The Spout does not slide off.  How can I remove it?

Asked by: Mark
Hi, Mark! Thank you for your question. To remove the spout for the Delta 10901LF faucet, you will want to first, remove the handle and unscrew the bonnet nut. The spout will usually come straight off. Very occasionally, you may have to twist left to right and pull up to remove the spout if it is not coming straight off. Best Regards, Rosanna

I just installed this in a new sink. I have a Kenmore portable dishwasher that I had connected to my old faucet. The adapter leaks on this one, like, a lot. I tried plumbing tape on the threads which did not help. Where can I get the right adapter?

Asked by: NotAPlumber
Hi, NotAPlumber! Thank you for your question. The Delta 10901LF Faucet has a 15/16"-27 thread size aerator. Unfortunately, we do not make dishwasher adapters. We recommend to check with the dishwasher manufacturer for the correct aerator adapter. Best Regards, Rosanna
